If all mentioned are fit, I'd go with. Bialkowski; Butterfield, Fonte, Martin, Harding; De Ridder, Hammond, Ward-Prowse, Holmes; Lee, Barnard. Subs: Davis; Shaw, Richardson, Stephens, Chaplow, Lallana, Lambert.

Have seen a few posters on here talking about teams catching up on us and how we seem to struggle in the big games, so decided I'd look into our record vs the other current Top 10 sides. This Season: (Green showing at least half points gained / Orange showing under half points gained, but potential to get over half / Red showing failure to gain at least half the points) Saints vs.... ...West Ham United - 3/3 ...Cardiff City - 1/6 ...Blackpool - 1/3 ...Birmingham - 4/6 ...Middlesbrough - 3/3 ...Hull City - 3/3 ...Reading - 1/3 ...Leeds United - 3/3 ...Brighton - 3/6 As the above shows, we have only accrued less than half the available points over 2 games against one challenger around us, Cardiff City. All the others we have gained at least half of the available points, except against Reading and Blackpool, who we could still get over half the points available to us, as we have to play them both again. So it works out at: 22 points out of the available 36, which works out that we are taking 61% of the points available against those around us, with potential for that to change. So although we are doing reasonably well against those around us, it is perhaps disappointing to only take 1 point against Cardiff this season. I see no reason why we can't beat both Leeds and Hull, and potentially Boro and Blackpool, even if these are all away games! We have done well at home, but our season could well be defined on our away games, which could be worrying. I still feel we will win more than we draw/lose at St. Mary's from here on, but need to be stepping it up away from home. I do feel we are starting to return to form however. I hope you followed that!

Taken by Fox too...

Serious foul play, tackle was not needed and a potential leg breaker.

I do like this.

Kris Temple has just used the Radio Solent Twitter account to tweet: "Kris here - just seen penalty shouts on video. With benefit of replays, #Saintsfc probably could've had three out of the three shouts"

Doubt it. Will be announced tonight. Adam Blackmore is heading back out to visit Saints for something he says: "I wonder why...."

Did others miss this? What do you know Gemmel or are you teasing?

Barnard: 24 starts and 14 goals in L1 last year, not too bad and he missed the run in!

Wish I hadn't started the thread, was building up over 2 pages, then those who are incapable to avoid verbally ripping into others online or even the Chairman from behind their screens took it over. Lock it?

Yes we need a goalkeeper in the future. No we do not want Joe Lewis, massively over-rated, flaps and parries too much. Posh fans on Twitter can't stand his consistent selection.

Apparently there is a STH Dinner tonight with Cortese? Wonder if he will drop any hints or reveal anything interesting...

He tweeted me: "Sharp has a fixed fee. Saints willing to pay. Player ready to go. Saints waiting on something. I don't know what." -

Why do loads of people not rate De Ridder?

I like him. Sometimes comes across as too eager to impress though. Part of his problem. He'll get there. -

Saints to go back and finally sign Sharp, £1.5m I was told the reason he didn't want to move this far South was at the time his wife was 7 months pregnant. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Transfer-gossip-Southampton-go-back-in-for-Billy-Sharp-Doncaster-striker-will-pay-1-5million-article856940.html -
Are you having a laugh?? Why didn't you raise your issue pre-match if so?

Now I will come across as a snob and say "I told you so", about a year ago. Major fall out and the guy's attitude is what caused him not to return, called it ages ago, above himself. Got loads of abuse, standard action on this forum it seems.
