Construction Work Begins At Staplewood
Saint-Armstrong replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The Official Site says we will be given monthly updates via the site and via SaintsPlayer. -
From Jordan Sibley on Twitter: "Construction Work Begins At Staplewood. Full story and pics now available on the official site. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk #saintsfc" Just shows all these people who claimed to know what was going on and that work had started or been suspended were talking crap...

Haha who started fights outside the ground then? I never saw a thing, seems like West Ham fans pay too much attention to films such as Green Street and Football Factory and think they happen every week cos they "is fking hard init, pwopa nawty"
-
They hated it. Foaming at the mouth offering fights around and giving a hand pleasure sign normally indicates you've hit a nerve. I expected a good atmosphere from both sets of fans, but West Ham fans atmosphere was poor in all honesty. Although, I'd not be up for watching that every week.

I did enjoy the "Football! You used to play football! You used to play football! You used to play football! Football!" chant. You know you've hit a nerve when they start foaming at the mouth offering fights and giving you the hand pleasure sign

Avoid Upton Park tube station after the game at all costs. You can take a walk to Plaistow/East Ham or get a bus (saw elsewhere that the 58, 104 and 376 are all regular and go to East Ham station). If you wait at Upton Park tube station you could be there well up to, or over, an hour. It's awful. I'd also imagine some of the home fans will be looking for trouble, and from the Tube station there are a few home fan pubs who will be looking for some for sure. I'm going to either keep my colours under my coat until reaching the ground, then revealing them and covering up again after the game, or just not wear them. The fact I live in Southend, West Ham heartland, lots of them here, doesn't help. Try not to get lost or stuck waiting for ages, and hopefully we can clinch 3 points without trouble on or off the pitch. COYS

I liked him, and still don't feel it is solely his fault. Wolves fans on the whole will tell you, he's done great for them. Several saying he's given them the best 6 years they've had as a Wolves fan. I just feel they need someone fresh with new ideas. Not another over 50 manager who is permanently in and out of jobs. (Bruce, Warnock, Curbishley although not in and out of jobs) Obviously it's different to me as an onlooker, but I'd look at younger managers with potential. If they keep 'em up, all is good. If not, time for a bloody good clear out and freshen things up at Wolves. So I'm going to chuck three names in the hat: Lee Clark, Eddie Howe and Nigel Clough. Maybe even Dougie Freedman?

We Can Still Do It... and Here Is Why...
Saint-Armstrong replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
January 2009 Wolves Transfers In: Kyel Reid (loan, West Ham), Cristophe Berra (£2.5m, Hearts) Out: Michael Mancienne (loan return, Chelsea), Mark Davies (loan, Leicester), Michael Gray (loan, Sheffield Wednesday), Lewis Gobern (loan, Colchester), Lee Collins (undisclosed, Port Vale), Darren Potter (loan, Sheffield Wednesday), Mark Davies (£1m, Bolton), Darren Ward (loan, Charlton), Michael Gray (free, Sheffield Wednesday) -
The Chairman and Manager signalled their intent to go up with their January deals. On the pitch all is not well right now, but throwing your hands up in the air bawling about it doesn't help either. Equally, pretending it is all going to be alright and sticking your head in the sand doesn't either. SFC is in a great place, we are 22nd in the whole country, let's try and enjoy it, and see if we can break into that top 20. We need to rally behind the team. We HAVE over-achieved, however I do still feel form will be found again. It is do-able. I refer you to Wolves in the season they won the title, check out the highlighted set of results: In this period they only took 11 points from 39, and still won the title. Like ourselves, they had a storming start, struggled and looked like throwing it away between December-March and still did it. Believe. This is far, far, far from over. COYR.

Looks very strong! Confident now, Saints to win 2-0.

It almost sounds like you are speaking from experience here Turkish...

After my earlier moan, I still managed to get some on the phone. 3 in fact! Chuffed.

Well that's fair then. I don't have an online account or have my customer number to hand. I know you guys will be pleased but when Saints say they are available at 9am this should be the case.
