  1. Yep. 100m of false economies to cover the sale of much better players at much more revenue. Its still 100m p*ssed up against the wall, at the end of the day. The sanctioning of the Carillo purchase was a sackable offence in itself.
  2. Clutching at straws. Its over. 1 win in 19 and we are supposed to suddenly get 3 wins and a draw in 5. Leave it out fella.
  3. Yes. That was Aston Villa 2005. That sucker punch will have killed any hope in the team. I am 100% certain now its over.
  4. If we had decent players with the heart and balls that Hughes has installed the past few weeks, 8 games would have been enough to pull clear. Today was our Aston Villa (H) 2005 moment. We are down. Time to clear out the off - field management, first team squad, lick our ounds and start again - under Hughes if he’s up for the fight
  5. Sorry, didnt realise from the very broad intepretation possible from the thread title. Happy for thread to be deleted.
  6. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16152786.Matt_Targett__I_ve_had_no_contact_from_Saints/
  7. Seems to work for Kloppy. And how do we know he wouldnt be a good manager ? Who do you suggest then ?
  8. What a crap list. If Hughes doesnt want the gig or isnt offered it, I would go with Potter. Or how about giving Sammy Lee his own hotseat ??
  9. Reed, Wreck-It-Ralph, Wilson, The Chinese Crook, Fat Kat and Pellegrino have sent us down.
  10. Which is why I am struggling with Sparky's reluctance to play Sims.
  11. Absolutely no more margin for error or off-days. Sparky will need to get his team selections and tactics spot-on. No more passengers in the game, the whole 11 giving 110%. Still, we shouldnt have got ourselves into this position. Reed has to go.
  12. Yep. Those who forget history are condemned to relive it.. “We’re too good to go down” We‘re going down
  13. Jesus. I'll drive the c**t to London.
  14. Why is it that failed w*nkers always move on to higher positions and higher pay ? He did sod-all for us except help KL eventually damp the momentum built up by ML and NC. No f**king loss whatsoever.
  15. Agree with your sentiment, but Cortese sold Oxlade-Chamberlain.
  16. Carillo is the 2018 version of Jamie Redknapp. Nepotistic transfer by incumbent manager. And both sh*te.
  17. Yes, something like this. I would prefer Long instead of Gabbi from the sheer principle of effort, but would fear we are too leaden-footed up front. Not sure about Davis and JWP too.
  18. We should vote for Jordy Claise to send a message.
  19. Thats why the real watershed was Markus's death. We have no idea if he was fully on board with the spending or not. Those of you that claim Markus was just a speculator are talking out of your arses.
  20. Yep.
  21. Florin Gardos or Jordy Claise
  22. The whole Monday morning reaction of the club every week is almost a carbon copy of Lundekvam in 2005. They are simply sharing the load this season. I am gobsmacked that a short decade later the club is making the same mistakes week-in week-out as it did; its like nothing was learnt from the experience.
  23. The only way we will come back up is if we find another rich phillanthropist. And only then after the club has been gutted and rebuilt from the bottom again. Gao (with KL mooching in the shadows), Kreuger and Reed ? Not a f**king chance
