  1. Massive win. Every chance of finishing 8th now. 8th, EFL final only just los after being the better team and narrowly. missing out on the next stage of the Europa League, all to a horrendous injury background, would be a very successful season
  2. My doubts are subsiding about his tactics, but I have concerns about his substitutions. However, the fact that he has no decent options and the cupboard has been threadbare on occasions is down to Reed. As I said at the weekend, I'd certainly give him more time, but I fret about the summer transfer activity.
  3. Not really. I wonder more about the dellusion on here of our place in football. We have never been more of a selling club than we are now.
  4. Funny that, I was just thinking the posts defending him sound the same as those for The Gash too.
  5. I dont think there is a problem with the medical team. I think these injuries are taking a long time to clear up due to Uncle Les's eye on the bank balance. I wouldnt be surprised if we dont see much of Manolo until the end of the season. Some f**ker will make a bid over the summer.
  6. Pre-season agreement with Everton signed, probably. Would rather have Boruc back than Hart.
  7. The arguments about where the blame lies for us going backwards can ping back-and-forth. Its a complex equation this year... We cant score goals for jack sh*t this year. For this I mainly blame J-Rod and Long, who are past their sell-by date and need to go, to some degree Tadic for whatever the hell is going through his head from minute-to-minute, and Reed for his Lowe-like approach of selling the family silver and replacing with players of lesser ability. We are weak at the back, and it would be a lot worse without Romeu. Of course, that c**t Vardy contributed by crippling VVD, but see above comment regarding Reed. He let Fonte go without replacement. I also blame Forster for being utter crap this season. Puel is not helping. He ****ed with squad off with his rotation, he clearly wanted to show Fonte who is boss, and his substitutions are woeful. In conclusion, I would clear the dead wood out this summer, give Puel the funding to build the squad in his image, and then sit back and watch what happens. If he cant cut it by Xmas, I would replace him.
  8. J-Rod, Long and Tadic can all sod off in the summer. Boufal the new Gashton
  9. Back to cows arses and banjos, I see...
  10. I'm wrong ? Watch the deal close once the ST deadline passes. Reed's got form in this repsect.
  11. Conclusive proof he's gone, and the club are still treating us like idiots.
  12. Fine by me, if its been done elsewhere.
  13. Apparently the ex-CEO of Disney wants to take over, according to their local rag. Come on, own up. Which one of you is responsible for the Paul Allen-sized hoax ?

    Lawro

The telling indicator of his blind spot / obsession where we are concerned is the overall table position. Depsite being 6th last season, his overall predictions have us 17th. He has our position more wrong than any other team. Tw*t...
  15. Reading between the lines of the article in today's Echo, it seems we've seen the last of VVD. They wont rush him back - clearly trying to protect / maximise the transfer fee we get.
  16. We fantasise over the same kits every year. And every year the club ignores us.
  17. So, still not a good season by our standards. Lets see if playing a stable team makes a difference over the last dozen games. I guess our weakness at CB is still going to be regularly exposed.
  18. This reminds me of how I deal with the kids when two of them are arguing : "Well, one of you is lying"
  19. Brilliant. Perfect response from the team...
  20. I see Lawro is trying to kick us when down again...
  21. Probably true, but isnt it great to imagine the whining on Merseyside ??
  22. Lol at Everton. They must be cacking themselves now. Once a rat, always a rat.
  23. What b*ll*cks. We can refuse them permission to approach the player. We did it with Morgan. I cant tell if this is a "we have finally learned our lesson" message, considering how long we have taken to settle down from the double player-and-manager disruption of this season, or this is the formal "Seasonal Player Sale" signs going up in the shop window...
  24. I am not so bothered about Lingard staying on. He could have sent off Stephens and Romeu. He was giving benefit of the doubt to both sides yesterday.
