I also agree, but in the interest of fairness and completeness the question as to whether the external communication to the rest of the world (fans, other clubs, media, etc.) was handled well is still a valid question. I for one think it wasnt. And I wonder why these threads are periodically started, often after a good result. It always sounds like a "told you so" p*ssing contest.

Very pleased I made the trip and got tickets. Our team play the ball around and are comfortable in posession. Not used to seeing that. Impressed with Toby, Jose, Maya and especially Mane. Ref was sh*te and biased. He was protecting the Chelsea players. Mourinho can't complain, he shouldn't be telling his players to dive. Ivanovic's dive at the end of the first half was a disgrace. What happened to Clyne, anyone ? Also don't understand people paying 40 quid a ticket, coming to their seat 5mins into game, going out 5mins before end of first half, coming back again late, the leaving early. Sitting at the end of a row in Itchen North corner, I struggled to see anything for about 20 of the 90 mins.

My missus has got me a suprise Xmas pressie - a return flight to the UK to cover the period of the Chelsea game. Very nice of her, but hasnt given much thought to getting me a ticket for the game... I know an ST holder who is only happy to oblige and get me a ticket on Thursday, but the question is, will tickets still be available then ? Any ideas ?

There is no point in hiding from the fact; ManC put us in our place. If we cannot bounce back and get a result on Wednesday and at a least a draw against a resurgent ManYoo at the weekend, we will end up somewhere similar to last season, sadly. Its been fun while it lasted...

An off day and we still came away with a point, from an away match against a team with their backs to the wall.. Pity we couldnt keep the winning run going, but was going to end somewhen anyway. Minor concern at not having much attacking options on the bench.
