All this talk of hatred aimed at players is almost entirely just internet stuff that I doubt they themselves even read, let alone cared about. In the whole time I’ve been going to saints matches I’ve seen very little abuse aimed at someone actually playing in a Saints shirt. A few groans when they do something sh*t, for sure but hardly anything I’d call actual abuse. Puncheon got a bit in League 1 but even he admitted a few years later that his own attitude was way off. Kelvin got some stick at Wednesday one year, having just let in five and there was the whole Boruc/water bottle incident.

My point is basically that there’s no such thing as ‘his team’ only players we can afford with our extremely limited (by PL standards) budget. Ralph supposedly chose those players whilst Pep was choosing Haaland, Grealish and Mahrez. Do you think that’s simply because Ralph doesn’t know which of those is better?

Why? Many of the clubs around us have had much more disappointing or indifferent summers so far. We look stronger in several positions, we just need a replacement for Broja.

I’m not sure where you’re getting your ideas from but CLF is ‘Clifton’, they’re a private jet company based in Bristol. There’s nothing unusual or illegal to see here, although whether it’s anything to do with Saints is just guess work. Why someone based in Bordeaux would be flying out of GRO I’ve no idea, they’re basically the breadth of the Pyrenees apart.

Why? There were many people talking how good he once was at Arsenal when we first signed him two years ago and how ‘coming home’ might see him back to his best from a few years ago. Why is a season Ings had three years ago relevant but Walcott’s past glories aren’t?

If we’re including goals from a few years back in the table we don’t need a striker at all. Walcott scored 21 for Arsenal, that’s pretty much the same without spending a penny.
