Three teams tied on 14 now with Essex and Kent away to the top two on the last day. It’s going down to the wire, this.
-
Absolute limbs, those last three overs. Never in a million years thought we’d chose that down after being 154/1 off about 11 overs.

Laugh all you want, you still gave me the job.

In the minds of many; Israel = Jews = rich, powerful Americans = establishment, authority, greed etc. Thats why stuff like this pops up:
-
A submarine and a cross channel swimmer both vanish without trace in the same body of water in the space of 24 hours and all the sheeple think it’s just a coincidence. 😆 There’s clearly a genetically engineered megalodon out there and the mainstream meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeja are keeping it quiet.

I’m confused, are Hes and Nett Zero two Israeli blokes?
-
What about Peterson?

You’ve clearly never been to Thailand or Sharm El Sheikh.

I’ve just looked at my calendar and TBF he’s not wrong.
-
That’s just blatantly not true though. We’ll have been doing an awful lot behind the scenes, you just haven’t heard about it from @bigboydaveinnitbruv5826 on Twitter.

You couldn’t have paid me $250,000 to get in that thing and dive to the bottom of the Atlantic, let alone the other way round. This isn’t MH370, it disappeared right under their noses, and a planned dive to a known location. Obviously they didn’t have a special offer on an ELT, redundant radio capability or an emergency flotation device when they were buying components from Best Buy. Smacks of a complete cowboy operation and a rather sad case of Darwinism for those onboard.

Fair play to Whiteley, he’s rescued a defendable score from that.
-
As with the Somerset game, it looks like we’re following a great win against a top side with another substandard performance against someone beatable.
-
Whatever the result, this is a cracking test match, going right down to the wire.
-
Mmmmm…. Wasn’t really a joke, or the point I was making.
-
I’d be surprised if they didn’t have plenty more modelling photos from across the squad, for just such an eventuality. Whilst he’s our player, and none of them are guaranteed to stay anyway, I think it’d be idiotic NOT to use our go-to poster boy. It’d only fuel speculation about his future.

I don’t hate the design but I do think the striped half will just blur into pink from any kind of distance, for anyone who’s not a Tawny Owl or Osprey. Also, as usual, the sponsor logo looks like a naff sticker someone printed out at home.

TBH I’m quite happy with all the Saudi sports washing. Being corrupted by western capitalism is quite an improvement on being corrupted by bronze age religious fundamentalism.

What mug would bet on Hampshire?! 🤣🤣

There’re around 2,600 billionaires in the world according to Forbes, it’s astonishing to think that nearly a quarter of them made their fortune selling disposable surgical masks. There was me thinking most of them got rich from oil, telecoms, automobiles, engineering, software, energy, manufacturing, transport, banking, foodstuffs, online shopping, marketing, fashion, cosmetics, tourism, construction aerospace, military hardware and other industries best served by a free flowing and unrestricted economy but no; I was wrong. Like a sheep I have been misled, disposable surgical masks are where the world big bucks really are.

No, Spurs got their pants pulled down by Newcastle. That has no bearing on any of our transfer dealings.
-
Because our top first team players can go to mediocre Premier League teams for a moderate pay rise. If anything our younger players will have a better chance at first team football now that we’ve been relegated, as the calibre of player they’ll need to displace will be lower.
-
People always forget two things when they bring this up: Transfer fees have gone up enormously since then. The year before we sold Mané, City bought KDB for a shade over £50m, having been tearing it up for Wolfsburg in Europe, and the general consensus at the time was that he was overpriced. Mané was inconsistent for us and only really looked like the player he became at Liverpool for the last 8-10 games. Before that he disappeared in both winters he played for us. The £34-38m touted was a fair price at the time.
-
True enough, they did all get to their last year but I believe we still made a profit on all three, or at least broke even. Clyne we bought in similar circumstances IIRC, seems he made a bit of a habit of playing contract chicken.

Not really, I can only think of Hojbjerg and Wanyama who we’ve really had to let go below market value because of that. There might be one or two others but we’re no worse than any other club.
