Women who constantly post things like “throwback Thursday,” and, “wedding dress challenge,” on social media. It’s not a challenge, you’re just fishing for likes and compliments but you’re not as pretty as you used to be, so you’re using photos from ten years ago. Grow up.

Our starting XI next season will likely have KWP, Perraud, Salisu, JWP, Romeu, Armstrong and Adams as a bare minimum. Even if we have Baz, ABK and two more young players making up the numbers, that’s a perfectly adequate blend of youth and experience. We’ll still have McC, Willy, Stephens, Redmond and Walcott, amongst others, in reserve if needs be.

We’re in pretty dangerous autocorrect territory, what with V and B being right next to each other on the keyboard. I look forward to the live commentary updates on someone, "going in hard on Labia." -
I agree on the striker issue but I wouldn't say there was much danger of the BIB. The young players we have been signed are by all accounts very highly rated and will hopefully be a big improvement on their predecessors. The Poortvleit season was basically building a team around players like Vokins, Harry Lewis, Valery, Obafemi and N'Lundulu, then telling everyone it was some sort of wonder team of totaal voetbal.

You'd have thought he'd be back in time for the start of the season, even if he's not 100% match fit. Bone fractures tend to be fairly definitive in their recovery time and not the sort of thing which would take twice as long, seemingly without reason. Even if he wasn't I wouldn't be unduly concerned. None of our options is exactly ideal but they're not disastrous either. I'd be hoping to start seeing more of Small this season in any case,

All quiet on the Long front. I believe it’s today that the contracts expire so perhaps we’ll here some news before too long.
-
Oh come on, he’s funny. Like Mr Burns has come to life.

Rooney, for England. -
Long, Walcott, Stephens, Redmond and Bednarek all have bags of experience. I’m sick of experience. The players who’ve flattered to deceive didn’t do so because of a lack of experience. It’s because they aren’t good enough. They could all be here until they’re 35 and still be useless.
-
Yeah, that was just plain weird. I think this is Boris attempting wokeness to try and take some of the heat off but I don’t think he’s pulled it off too well.
-
If I feel inclined to buy one I tend to wait until January when they’re normally about 1/3 off.
-
My only criticism would be the big white circle at the start of the sponsors logo. Why that could have been empty to allow the red stripe to be unbroken I don’t understand.
-
So six players, more than half a team, who’ve just been relegated would walk into our team but Ralph is doing a terrible job?
-
Nope. Not a Scooby what this one means, sorry. Germany had one or two things on their mind in the nineties. A couple of small issues which kinda took priority in a post-Soviet, relatively peaceful Europe.
-
That’s two completely made up ‘what if’s which, which have basically zero chance of happening. They haven’t fired first, nobody ever has in the history of MAD, that’s the whole point. What you’re basically saying is, "if they decide to end the world as we know it…" Russia doesn’t have that capability. They have nowhere near the finance nor the expertise to build such a weapon and if they did the Americans would be ten steps ahead of them. Russia can’t even win a conventional war against Ukraine, partly because they can’t even put functioning tyres on their military equipment.
-
The attack does show an increasingly desperate urge to lash out and cause terror by any means possible, from Russia. There’s a whiff of the V1 and V2 attacks on London, striking at civilians targets well out of reach of his armies, for no strategic reason.
-
Firstly, whilst we clearly had the capability, we’re clearly not going to nuke Buenos Aires for the sake of a few penguins. Secondly, Islam isn’t a country, you can’t just nuke a concept and if you could the people carrying out those attacks would welcome mutual destruction. Thirdly, Putin would be a heck of a lot more brave himself in all of this if NATO didn’t have their own nuclear weapons.
-
How many nuclear capable countries have actually been invaded or attacked? Not including remote archipelagos, 8,000 miles away.
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-61961871 Americans will be horrified when they realise that all those people are former embryos.

You can’t just ‘have oil’ and everything is fine. For a start the amount they produce per capita is relatively low. Certainly nowhere near any of the big Gulf producers, or even Canada and Norway. Secondly they are subject to big sanctions and just don’t have anywhere near a diverse enough economy to stand up alone. They just don’t produce the things they need in house. Take aviation as an example, their soviet era Tupolevs and Ilyushins are all gone and they rely almost entirely on western aircraft, which they now can’t acquire or get parts for. As a result they’re just going to have to keep cannibalising planes until they run out. The only thing they do make is a small regional jet and even that has engines built in France.
-
But they would be able to pull out and declare themselves as the saviours of Russia’s economy, or some guff along those lines.

I’m afraid as part of the great population reset, I’ve been ordered to lock this thread. Every word kev has posted is completely true and we can’t risk any more classified information being leaked.

That’s an incredibly skewed take on it. You basically assumed we have no other money for transfer OR wages other than what we get for selling Prowsey. Taking your 3x £100k wages as a given, JWP is probably on that himself and FF wouldn’t have been far off. If we can offload any of Long, Djenepo, Bednarek etc. that’d be at least £50k each, so with bad coming in we’re basically even. Essentially you’re talking about spending £35m on agents fees for two Adam Armstrongs and a Svanberg, which would just be madness.
-
If you're going to assume a worst case scenario, I'll say; what if JWP does his ACL 10 minutes into the game at the THS? Les and Ross aren't here any more and the signings made since they left have, overall, looked at least competent despite an incredibly limited budget up until now.

Another decent performance, looking forward to next Friday’s return game.
