  1. At least we won’t have to watch another West Brom yo-yo season.
  2. Switched over to that Chernobyl drama instead of watching E.T. Before my time but good grief that accident was grim.
  3. If Villa do go up, they’ll have to defend better than this next season.
  4. I’d have thought so too, unless events on the show lead to some sort of overdose or drunken accident. Begs the question, if it was suicide, of whether something said on the show triggered it or if the timing was just coincidental.
  5. Did Rose really say there’s no point in taking his badges? Good grief, what a plank.
  6. Had a look, seems to be just some journo filling column inches with a load of made up hypotheticals, with about 5 different clubs listed for a whole bunch of Liverpool outcasts. I’d be amazed if ended up here, personally.
  7. 90 minutes, yes. Not 91 minutes though.
  8. Thoughts on this then? I'm surprised it has stayed on air this long, seems like nothing more than an excuse for some egotistical w***er to shout at people less fortunate.
  9. I'm pretty sure Brighton at home was.
  10. It's basically some journalist asking if it could happen and Benali saying no. Hardly a rumour.
  11. Be careful what you wish for.
  12. Am I missing something, what rumours?
  13. You could say that about any number of sitters missed by Long, Armstrong's wee wander across the pitch against Bournemouth, Stephens punching the ball at Burnley, JWP rugby tackle at home to Brighton, Vestegaard's back pass at Cardiff, Hojbjerg's Red Leicester, any number of Banzai Saints corners we immediately conceded from and just generally being a bit sh*t all season. Harsh to pick out Gunn really.
  14. And the fact that both clubs have already said we're going to sign him.
  15. I think they will be a bit like Leicester. They won’t drop to 12th but psychologically and in terms of their luck in games and with injuries, it’s hard to see them keeping that kind of form up. That’s even assuming they keep their key players.
  16. 2 goals from open play in over 7 months, both at home to Arsenal.
  17. No manager will succeed with that squad, the egos are running the show. Pogba is the worst, they need to ship him out ASAP. When he isn’t happy he just downs tools until the manager gets the boot.
  18. That’s weird, I can’t remember locking a thread about Gunn. I mean, there was this one thread called ‘Gunn’, which was actually just a tedious troll post calling other fans stupid on the back of one howler but he can’t be talking about that.
  19. I thought Huddersfield hadn't bothered at the start and we were just having a kick about with the stewards. Might as well TBF. Garbage overall, two seasons summed up in 90 minutes. Possession, a lack of real chances, wasting the one we have, throwing away a lead at home to bottom half opposition, individual howlers leading to goals, bored, overpriced.... The main positive I can take from today is that I will hopefully never see some of these players again. Before next season, I've got 2 F1 weekends, British Touring Cars and a sh*t load of cricket to take my mind of Saints. Hallelujah!
  20. Surprising really, all those late goals makes for good TV drama. Surprised to see Bournemouth so low and 11 games is 10 too many for Burnley.
  21. Even if they did rename it the ‘Globex Corporation Investments Stadium’ or whatever, everyone would just call it St Mary’s anyway.
  22. I don’t actually see the problem with a late kick off. Longer to drive up, have a few pints, go to the game, a few more pints and stay the night. There and back in the same day is a b*tch of a journey anyway.
  23. In other words, if your mind has already been made up because of past experiences which are nothing to do with this incident, which just make you look for any form of confirmation bias and blank any evidence to the contrary.
  24. Wouldn't mind VS if they actually made the kit. I reckon a nice, turquoise, satin number would really bring out the colour of my eyes.
  25. I think if Spurs won the Champions League, they’d be aiming a little higher than a man who narrowly avoided relegation, may or may not scrape 40 points and who’s teams have a nasty habit of throwing games in the last 5 minutes. IF Poch goes Howe, Gracia, Benitez and Santo are all much more enticing prospects.
