ITK as in repeating something widely rumoured in the press and on social media already, with no actual new info? I'd give him a 10... AR-10.
-
I'd play Gabbi instead of Long. Aside from that, the same team please.
-
-7 I think. I think I forgave Papa Waigo for wearing gloves in that one.

Funnily enough my Facebook feed reminded me of that fogged out penalty at Colchester, 8 years ago today. I made it to the ground 10 seconds before kick off and it was freezing. As with Leeds 10 days earlier, really wish I hadn’t bothered.

His name is The9 actually.
-
No to Sturridge. If he was ever fit enough to score a goal for us, I’d take a running jump accross the advertising board and do a reverse-Cantona into his face when he performed that goal celebration. Yes to Walcott.
-
No. This squad is capable of far better. 17th would probably mean sticking with MP and continuing with similar performances and results, only to stay up because 3 teams have served up more absolute dogsh*te than we have. A new manager and a couple of decent additions should see us comfortably midtable. We were crap last year and finished 8th, 10-14th really isn’t that hard.

Would any other club do what; accept a world record transfer fee for a defender, who doesn’t want to be here? Yeah, probably.

I voted in as I don’t think he has done an awful lot wrong. Yet. My one gripe with him was the Fonte saga in January. Fair play, getting £8m for old rope was pretty good business but doing it without a suitable replacement lined up was poor. Most of his other decisions though I was happy with. I’d much rather try new managers from abroad than jump on the Big Sam, Pardew, Pulis, Hodgson, McLaren, Moyes roundabout. We may get a few Puel and MPs through the door but we will also get a few Pochs (I know he was Nicola’s man but the point remains valid) and Koemans. Without the joy of hindsight, the decisions to appoint and sack Puel were correct, as was the decision to appoint MP. The acid test will be when he blinks on sacking MP, who he appoints and how we spend the money from Virgil. It’s a big month for Les, the jury is out as far as I’m concerned.

Liverpool agree world-record £75m deal for Virgil van Dijk
Lighthouse replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
And a reasonable chunk of cash, which we needed at the time. This was at a time when Spurs were talking about loaning Bale to Forest and we were on the brink of administration. There are many valid criticisms of Lowe but I’d have probably done the same in that scenario. -

Lovren can’t be too happy. -
833 Riccardo Fullers.

Last year Long scored his first goal on New Years Eve, so you never know.
-
I’d personally say he hasn’t done much worse than Virgil. Saying he’s sh*t under this manager is a bit unfair really.
-
Looks like he will have plenty of time to play Monopoly with his missus.

This isn't blackface though, that refers specifically to wearing black makeup for the sole purpose of mocking black people. There is a huge difference in intent between doing that and dressing up as someone who happens to be black.
-
None of those things bare any relevance to this debate. If you honestly can't tell the difference between calling a black person a spade and dressing up as a Harlem Globetrotter then... something.

For some reason the thread title reminds me of hunting wild deer.

I saw a bloke in a pink dress and a blonde wig on his stag do the other night. What an insensitive, sexist pr*ck, does he not know all the painstaking work the Suffragettes went through in the name of women's rights. FWIW I do know the history behind blackface mocking African American's as cheerful simpletons, however this is quite obviously not the case here. Ludicrous that people were offended.

West Brom look hopeless. We were boring against Utd but the Baggies look incapable of even providing boredom. I wonder if Jay Rod's gobsh*te dad/brother are still mouthing off on social media about how he isn't playing.

With relegation almost a certainty, who stays and who goes?
Lighthouse replied to davefoggy's topic in The Saints
None of the promoted sides are anything to write home about and unlike us, I wouldn't say there was unlocked potential in any of their squads. Stoke are sh*te, Bournemouth are nothing amazing and even in spite of their recent good form, I wouldn't say Palace or West Ham are home and dry. Even Watford are in freefall at the moment. -
Claude’s coaching being incredibly negative, play for a 0-0 at home to Hull, Stoke and Bournemouth, defensive football. We can get along just fine without Virgil, it’s all about who replaces him and who the manager is.

He did enough in his first games here to show his class in terms of movement and finishing (the West Ham goal on his debut and the second in the cup final were belters). Actually I think the Saganowski analogy is pretty apt as there is clearly a decent player in there, he just looks hopeless in a team which is disorganized, unmotivated and features a new formation with 5 different players every game. He'd be cracking in the Leicester team that won the title, playing on the counter with two up front. The number of times I've seen him make a great run, only for Redmond or Tadic to play it tamely sideways/backwards to Romeu, then Yoshida and back to the 'keeper. If we played with any sort of tempo and purpose, Gabbi would be banging them in but we don't. Austin suits or play better because he can loiter in the box and stand there having a fag for 10 minutes before we finally put a cross in. It's typical bottom half football, just lump it into the box at Andy Johnson or Grant Holt and see what happens. -
I'm assuming this is your first interaction with Dalek.
