I'd say Dembele could well be banned for that.

Very pleased for Burnley and Dyche. They could have so easily sacked him last year and brought in some quick fix like Redknapp or Warnock but they stuck with him. Hopefully they will spend sensibly and avoid the drop next season.

Another myth. He never got into the Liverpool team because he wasn't good enough. He was slow, he couldn't adapt to their game and without a team being built around him, he was half the player he was at Southampton. We were trying to replace him for a couple of years with J Rod, Osvaldo and Pelle (who I still think would have signed even if Lambert had stayed).

If we did we'd have beaten everyone except Leicester, Everton and Palace this season, with the latter still to visit St Mary's.

We're now 5 points behind West Ham and Utd. I can't see us getting 5 points for the rest of the season, even if they get nothing in their last 3 games. We've got a remote chance of catching Liverpool, if they c*ck up a pretty easy run in against WBA, Swansea, Watford and Chelsea.

Boro drawing tonight sort of puts Brighton and Burnley in the driving seat. If Burnley beat Derby on Monday night they are all but promoted, barring a big shift in GD in the final round, as Boro host Brighton in their last game. Remaining fixtures Brighton vs Derby Burnley vs QPR Charlton vs Burnley Boro vs Brighton The unfortunate 3rd placed team looks likely to be joined by Hull, Derby and Wednesday in the playoffs. Personally I'd like to see Brighton, Burnley and Wednesday come up. Brighton just because it would annoy the Skates, Burnley for family reasons and because I admire them for sticking with Dyche. Wednesday just because we haven't seen them for a while. To stay up, I'd like Norwich but I think Sunderland.
