Funny how the three other teams who "I wish we were like..." are currently in the bottom three.

Newly promoted Started well Northern away day Saints under-performing. This has got 1-0 defeat written all over it. Mounie to score, Tadic to miss a pen.
-
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I don't think we were very good last night.

This are good newts!

I was curious as to how that system would work but not with those players. Boufal and Tadic can't play together, Austin has no pace at all, JWP was useless, Pied nowhere near good enough for that role. The overall play was just so static. 5 defenders pinging around with no movement at all in front of them, just a bunch of lemons stood watching Yoshida and expecting him to magically scythe the defence open. Another thing I don't get is why the only time we show any flare or adventure, it's playing 50 yard Hollywood passes, to our LB in his own half. What's he going to do with it there. And defending corners with 11 in our own box... at home... to Wolves... and still conceding... f**k me sideways!!

What the frig!? Same old, same old; big clubs nicking our players I guess.

Does anyone know if Hoot was registered in time for this?
-
Aguero sold him that one. Harsh sending off.

Our starting XI against Palace last year, albeit a round later; McC, Cuco, Yoshi, Fonte, Targett, Clasie, JWP, Reed, Hesketh, Long, Austin Some will argue we rested players and made it to the final, others than we're not in Europe now and we don't need to this year.

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day

I wonder if Barca web has a poster called 'Pyrenean' saying, "FFS! No ambition, selling club, sack the DoF!" -
TBF refs are adding a lot more injury time these days.

You used to mate with Keith Hamilton?

Booing a person when they join a rival football team but then not booing them when they die. Fancy that.

Show some compassion for the poor girl FFS. You can't expect someone to drive for almost an hour in a brand new Bentley. If your wife left you after 7 years for some bloke with more money, would you be thanking her for 7 years of great memories?

My take on it is than Jose realised his stock was at its highest peak, being 32 years old and having just won the Euro's. He and/or his agent obviously saw this as the opportune moment to try and negotiate his last big pay cheque. Basically Fonte wanted paying for a standard of football he is unlikely to provide at the age of 35. Saints weren't stupid enough to give in to his demands. West Ham it seems were. I thought they might get one decent season out of him but on the basis of yesterday's performance (and several previous for the hammers) I'm beginning to doubt that. Being a 'legend' works both ways. You can't expect to be worshiped for your past achievements if you then sod off to a rival club for nothing other than EVEN MORE money.

People said the same about us in the first couple of years after promotion though. We were generally better liked because of our promising youngsters, mixed with prudent signings from smaller teams and abroad, compared to teams like QPR signing players like Hoilett and Bosingwa on big wages. Arsenal couldn't hold on to the likes of Cashley, Nasri, Adebayor, RVP and now apparently Sanchez. In the long term, I doubt Spurs will be all that much different. I fear once agent become involved, every player tends to end up the same. FWIW my ladder of hate at the moment; Pompey (in so far as one is able to hate an irrelevant entity we may not play for decades) Liverpool Quite a large gap Man Utd (the cup final bumped them up a bit) Everton (More their deluded fans believing Koeman left for anything other than money) Chelsea Spurs (Poch, Wanyama and Toby annoyed me but that has wained a bit) Man City (kind of hard to hate, they're just a soulless money pit)

Disagree, seeing the lose at home (even against Chelsea) in almost the last minute is still pretty funny. I don't think they're doing anything awe-inspiring either. When the likes of Kane, Alli and Eriksen's agents start demanding Pogba, Lukaku and Morata wages, we will see what they're really made of. Especially if they fail to qualify for the Champions League and/or a really big club comes in for Poch. Plus they've spanked plenty of money on under-performing players over the years.

Is this game being played at Wembley? Nobody seems to have mentioned it yet and I haven't seen any aerial shots of the stadium to proved any visual clues.

Is he? Fair enough.

I'd go with the team in the OP but with Sims instead of Long. A bit meaningless really, all depends on the luck of the draw.

Well, that's why we go to the football. Proper rollercoaster of emotions that one, we were crap second half. Went back to Puel like slow possession in the second half and invited them back into the game. From where I was Forster was at fault for their first he looked welded to his line in the minutes leading up to their equaliser. Bertrand and Redmond looked poor and Zabaleta (comfortably West Ham's best player IMO) had the better of them. Yoshida was excellent I though but he needs someone a bit more physical than JS next to him. Thought we were good first half, even against 11 we had the upper hand and scored a very good goal. All came from playing with pace and tempo and passing the ball through first time, not doing a few turns and waiting for 18 players to get behind the ball. Who'd have though... Not that I'm condoning pitch invasions but I did lol at the two Saints mateys at the end, after a handful of their fans invaded following the equaliser.

Johnny Depp as Dani Osvaldo Riz Ahmed (played the lead in Four Lions) as Boufal Jack Black can be Ostlund

A very odd view point from a man who's club has a) Finished below us for the last 4 years running. b) Since promotion not finished higher than 7th, lower than 13th and is on average 11th. c) Played in one cup final since 1981.

I would suggest from the name 'Star Cloud' that they actively want their child to be bullied.
