Yep, same. Normally I'd prioritise the League over the FA Cup but winning the EL would trump that if we stayed up. The chance to play in the Champions League, even for only a year would attract some high caliber players.

Terrible replacements. Romeu, Clasie, Caulker and Van Dijk were all dreadful first half.

I wouldn't want to make the same mistakes when there is no need to. Reed is 20 years old, he wont be a has-been if he spends a year in the Championship.

We can't give our academy players regular first team football if they just aren't good enough yet. The fact that we've brought in Clasie and Romeu and are considering loaning Reed out suggests he isn't ready yet. We gave first team opportunities to Oli Lancashire, Calum Davenport, Jamie White and Jake Thompson when they clearly weren't ready for it. Look how that turned out.

Caulker is just a loan until Gardos is fit as far as I can tell. Fonte will turn 33 next season, he's getting to the age where we need to start thinking about a long term replacement.
