Wont be anything like 6 weeks. Depending on the nature of the injury, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on Tuesday, although I think Brum would be more realistic.

The 5th Round Draw - Bolton at home (if we beat Millwall!)
Lighthouse replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Out of sorts Premier League opposition, that's 2 very winnable home ties. Pleased with that. At least it wasn't some sh*t Northern away day like Bolton or Stoke. -
I haven't read anyone saying Barnard or De Ridder were good yesterday. Infact most people seem to be agreeing with your match report; De Ridder wasn't really in the game and Barnard looked rusty and off the pace. I don't think you can be too harsh on them though, De Ridder was on his less favoured left side and Barnard was making his first start in about 9 months.

Not a fan of this. He really doesn't do enough tracking back to play in midfield and he has left us badly exposed a few times in the pass. I'd have said his main attributes were his movement in the box, heading and finishing. To me it would be like playing Rasiak on the wing. If Puncheon isn't fit enough, I'd go with Steve De Ridder. I know he wasn't that good today, but I think in a home game with more possession and playing in our strongest 11 on the right side, he will be much better.

That's your idea of fun? God in Heaven... You can't have fun taking the p*ss because: 1. You're having a tedious argument with a retard on the internet. You're not taking the p*ss, your just wasting everyone's time. 2. It's not exactly fun for the rest of us having to read all this crap when we just want to discuss Saints. This is in danger of turning into one of those tedious arguments and for that reason, I'm out.

Click on his profile and on the left there is a list of options, including 'ignore list'

1. Nobody actually gives a crap about the FA really. A cup run is nice, but you wouldn't turn down a signing because he is cup tied. 2. As far as I can tell there will be 2 teams from League 1 or below in the 5th round. Stevenage and Crawley. So even if everyone does care, it's only those 2 teams (and Wednesday who have a replay). Edit: serves me right for going to get some food half way through that post.

Crazy Diamond, T-L-S Please JUST STOP! Nothing you can say to Dalek will possibly be worth it. He is a retarded troll. You say something, he says something else more ridiculous the last time. You tell him he is wrong, he winds you up with another response. You respond again and feel like you are winning because your argument makes sense and his doesn't, well you aren't. As long as there is endless silly arguing, HE is winning not you, because that's all he wants. Put him on your ignore list, you really wont miss out on anything.

There isn't room on it for Barnard, DC, Harding or Hammond. Someone else will have to make way for Chaplow when he is fit too. Strong competition indeed.
-
Massive game obviously, hopefully we will have a few people back fit. I'd like to see us line up with Davis Frazer - Fonte - Martin - Fox Puncheon - Cork - Morgan - Lallana Lambert - Guly Subs: Bart, Jaidi, De Ridder, Falque, Lee
-
Sounded like a decent match, lots of possitives. Barnard got some decent match time, Lambert back and scoring, defence not as bad as we feared, Lee's debut, Puncheon sounded pretty decent, Martin having a great game apparently as did Bill Kowsky. Negatives I suppose would be losing our 'winning when leading at HT' record. 37 odd games I think it was.

Ah balls.
-
3 LBs on the pitch.
-
Tactic #4314 Stick anyone called Lee on the pitch. "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Seems to be the chant
-
Don't see Lambert being left on for 90 minutes. I reckon Holmes will replace him at some point, with Jaidi staying on the bench.
-
The should be come back is on. Meanwhile in real life!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Even if we get beat today, quit moaning. We have an uber important game in 3 days time against Cardiff. Fonte is rested Jos is injured Lallana is injured Morgan is rested Cork is rested Guly is rested Davis is rested Puncheon, Lambert and Barnard are playing their first games in quite a while. This isn't our first team by a long long distance. This isn't going to be pretty. GBTTFFS!

Anyone got a working feed for this?
-
What's so bad about Barnard? I had him down as better than Guly last season.
-
Great to see Barnard, De Ridder and Judy getting starts. Hopefully they can all prove their various doubters wrong, assuming the defence holds up.

I've got an inflatable Alan Rickman I hardly use any more. Not sure of its value as such, but I'm willing to donate it to the cause. -
If you could go out with a player in the current squad, who would it be?
Lighthouse replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
Lee Barnard. Ugly f**ker, so he'd probably appreciate it more. -
Couple of beers, a chicken Madras and a bog roll. Got my evening sorted.

Cork says he is looking forward to Tandoori singing, so I can only assume he will be involved in some capacity. Can't see the point in traveling unless all the paper work is signed off. P.S. @ Jaidi and De Ridder. Great pair of characters to have on board.
