The Brum game will always stick out in my mind. Jones scoring 2 goals in as many minutes against the league leaders after they had start stronger was just brilliant. When Skacel made it 3-0 three minutes later I could barely believe it. The Brum fans were going mental at Maik Taylor. Then Jones accidentally cleared his own hat trick off the line. He didn't know where the ball was until it bounced off the top of his head and out for a goal kick. DJ Campbell's looping header in injury time nigh on stopped my heart though. The only other ones which really stick out are the JPT games. Waigo's injury time equaliser against Norwich sent us all bananas, even though it was only the paint pot trophy. We won a couple of shootouts against Torquay and Norwich, then there was the MK Dons game which sent us to Wembley. We won 3-1 and our second goal was one of the funniest o.g.s I've ever seen. One MK defender hoofed the ball off the back of another and it bounced back into the net. All good midweek hi-jinks.

I probably would TBF. Got a thing for tall blonde birds. -
As a T-shirt it might have worked but they seem to be aiming for some kind of casual lounge wear. I'll stick to my face paints, red and white wig and jester hat thanks.

Did we buy the wrong striker from Burnley...

Yep. A bit like Rasiak and Le Fondre really. A good finisher but wouldn't get a look in against most Premier League defences. -

Which country is this handsome young lady representing? -
I think the ARP Warden is still kicking around too but that's it.

RIP. Loved watching (repeats of) Dad's Army when I was a kid and this was in the 90s. A true timeless classic and Jones was one of my favourite characters.

Hungary, Ukraine and the Baltic states have some pretty impressive tallents. At the other end of the scale you have UK, Germany and Belgium. -
Mine is 'squirrel'. F**king awesome word.

Another case of playing badly, so obviously the missing players are the answer. Hammond is slow and his passing is limited. If Morgan and Davis are having trouble getting a grip of this league, Hammond would get taken to the cleaners. I actually thought he was fairly limited at Championship level last season, despite the leadership he brings to the team.

Seeing as how we're constantly getting exposed down the flanks and Fox and Clyne are both better going forward than defending, how about playing something like this. If we are attacked down our left, Jos can come over and cover Fox meaning there is less pressure on Lallana to get back and defend. Likewise on the right with Fonte covering Clyne. We should deal with crosses and set pieces better having 3 centre halves in the team and hopefully when Cork gets back he will make a better fist of running the midfield than Davis and Morgan have managed so far. If he can cover the front of defence, it leaves Morgan free to get forward and play the ball to the front 3. Maybe I'm overthinking the issue but I think it would give the team a better balance. It can't be any worse than tonight surely. Going away from home with 4 all out attacking players is asking for trouble. - - - - - - - - - - - Gazza - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Fonte - - - Yoshi - - - Hooiveld - - - - Clyne - - - - - - - Cork - - - - - - - - - - - Fox - - - - - - - - - - - Morgan - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Gaston - - - - - - - - - - - Lallana - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Lambert - - - - - - - - - - -

We just need to be a bit calmer on the ball and not go in 2-0 down at the break. Davis has looked pretty sloppy in the middle and there is a lot of hoof from the centre halves.

Oh dear. I suspect we are in for a long evening.

Good grief. All but one of Queen's hits were outsold by Price Tag by Jessie Jay. I can understand kids buying Barbie Girl and Teletubbies, that doesn't bother me but Christ alive there is some garbage in that list. Matt Cardle is on there but nothing by the Beegees. Not sure what it is about Unchained Melody which made people buy 3 versions of it either. -
I think 6ft 6 Yevhen Khacheridi fits the bill. Here he is putting Andy Carroll on his arse at the Euros.

You are in good company there. I say 'good', it's actually Baj.

Funny you should say that, my second team is (rather randomly) Dynamo Kiev. They had a great team in the late 90s but they've been gash for a few years now. Nowhere near the quality of Shakhtar these days and in real danger of finishing the season behind Metalist and Dnipro and missing out on next years Champs League. Oleg Blokhin is taking over though, so hopefully he will get them back on the right track. How does a Saints fan end up living in Kharkiv of all places?

Appart from £40m in transfer fees in the last 6 years?

I think if Morgan's injury time effort against Spuds had gone in I would have gone mental. How Sandro didn't end up like Anne Boleyn I'll never know.

It's great for Southampton because young wannabe players will look to home grown tallent like Bale, Walcott and AOC for inspiration. Let's say there is some bright young 10 year old wonderkid in Southern England and he gets invited to join accademies at Southampton, Reading, Swindon and Pompey. He's going to look at the our set up and see Bale, Walcott, AOC, Shearer, Bridge, MLT and Lallana. He's going to look at the Skate's youth policy and see... er... Joel Ward.

One slight alteration -
We are getting killed playing the way we play. We need to play the way someone else plays. Not sitting back nescessarily but we certainly need to be a lot tighter and more organised at the back. I wouldn't chuck Ramirez straight into the starting line up after a fairly long injury lay off. I'm expecting to lose this game, Ramirez or not, so I would personally save him for the Swans when he will be a week fitter and could potentially make the difference. The last thing we need is him getting clobbered and missing another month.
