There is no 'value' of a player, there is only what other clubs are willing to spend on a player and what we are willing to sell them for. This can work in different ways. A few examples: Player - Saints asking price - Other teams willing to pay - Result Kelvin £400k £0k He will never be sold Jaidi £100k £0k He will never be sold Harding £500k £0k No value because he is out of contract in summer Chamberlain £5m £10m He is in high demand, so Saints can name their price. Sells for £10m Mills £500k £200k He hands in a transfer request and a compromise of £350k is reached.

Players are only really worth what someone is willing to spend on them. Look at Andy Carroll, a massive panic buy after Torres was sold, they paid 3 times what he's worth. As such I'd say players like Kelvin and Jaidi are worth £0. Not because they're useless, but because nobody is going to spend Money on a 34 year old 'keeper and a 35 year old centre half in League 1.

I'm not sure the dump was particularly lucky, although I did feel much better afterwards.

Fonte and Lallana should be in, but that's it. AOC might have a chance, but he is inconsistent and I wouldn't pick him. Lambert, not a chance. Very inconsistent this season and a large chunk of his goals came from 12 yards out. Barnard would be my 1st choice striker at the moment.

Don't know what people are moaning about, we did exactly what we had to last night. Win comfortably. Yeovil came here with a simple plan. Stick 5 in midfield, stiffle all creativity and hope for a scrappy draw, or at best a Walsall style fluke goal. We managed to break them down and took our chances when they came. You can't really ask for much more that that. Having said that, there were a few sloppy performances. My thought's on the players: Davis - 5 Never really troubled, but feck me he made a meal of trying to put a cross over the bar. Dodgy kicking at times too. A throw in in your own half isn't good. Butters - 6 Never got too adventurous down the right and was barely troubled defensively. Great awareness for the first goal Fonte - 7 By far our best CB. We'd be terrible without him. A couple of panicked clearances. Martin - 7 Did alright considering his chances have been limited. Looked better on the deck than in the air, which was unfortunate as he had a lot of long balls to deal with. Harding - 7 Nothing wrong here, supported Lallana well. AOC - 7 Was a bit quite, but some decent skill in the lead up to his goal and a couple of decent runs. Hammond - 4 Looked like he was running in marmalade most of the time. Didn't really put a shift in. Chaplow - 6 Not his best performance. How the ref booked him for that challenge I'll never know. Lallana - 8 A touch of class Lambert - 5 still looks overweight and a bit lethargic at times. Barnard - 8 Looked switched on and took his chances. A worker and would be my first choice striker. Subs: Gobern - 6 Had a couple of good moments Forte - 6 Didn't think he was that bad, apart from his tribute to BWP with the 1-on-1. Richardson - Wasn't on all that long, but I'd probably start him at RB. He hasn't really had a decent run since his injury and Butters isn't all that.

I get it. I get why this guy hates Britain, I get that he is in a small minority and that most Muslims despise his principles. My point is that we shouldn't be publicising this guy by making a massive deal of it. The only value his actions have is the value we give it. Without going into benefit abuse, which is a completely different issue, I agree with Benji and Verbal on this. This nobber is clear out to stir up racial hatred and xenophobia by disrepecting out national heroes. There's no crime here really IMO. He hasn't damaged property, assaulted anyone. Only change I'd make is starting with the Martian in defence for Jaidi. Pretty sure Adkins will go with Seaborne however. MIGHT be tempted to rest AOC for Guess ahead of the Bompey trip.

Had some furious arguments with myself about raddish, then got banned becaused apparently that's off topic. They take their lettuce way to feckin' seriously.
