Thoughts from him from those at the game please. Sounded on the radio like he did alright and got involved a lot. Hopefully an improvement on Blackpool and Millwall.
-
Maybe he likes pasta sauce and cacti.

From a mathematical POV it's an absolute no brainer. Saints would have 4 points from 2 games West Ham would have 3, assuming they win their fixture on Saturday. So we stretch our lead over 3rd by another point and they have 2 games less to catch us.

Get in, absolutely fantastic reaction to the Pompey game!!! We will definitely be in the autos with 3 games left, even if we lose to Reading and Wham win their next 2. If Brum win tonight, we COULD get promoted this weekend. Uber uber squeaky bum time. Oh and the Skates are 9 points off safety this evening.

3-1 to Bristol City :D
-
It's always 4 minutes when we're winning.

Sharp sounding a bit quiet. Maybe give Barnard 30 minutes.
-
Oh yes!!!!!!!!
-
Anything but a draw there please, Bristol win would be best.
-
With Saints, I can't relax until we're 9-0 up.
-
Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus, my ticker can't take much more of this.

Sexy Santas FTW!!!
-
Oh f**k, you know what comes next.

Today we should also be supporting: Bristol City - Drop the Skates 9 points adrift of safety. A cov win would b2 8 points. Anything but a draw IMO. Cardiff, Hull, Blackpool - Could do with Boro being 7 points off the playoff spots when we go there. Brum - Pretty obviously. Oh and Saints probably.

FFS!! Lowe out!

Guthrie I will give you, Viafara was a liability. People criticise De Ridder for just running around, at least he can control the ball and put in a decent cross every now and then. Viafara just charged around at 90mph giving the ball away.
-
I don't care if he gets beaten by my 5 a side team this evening, he was still decent whilst he was here. And the OP never stated 'must be a competant centre half who never gives away a penalty'.

One of my favourite central midfielders since we were relegated from the Prem was Pele. Strong, a good tackler and a very reliable passer. Won a lot in the air and hard to knock off the ball. Someone like that would be a good addition, although I don't agree with this 'hard man' attitude. We could just end up with someone like Robbie Savage, lunging in and getting booked every game, whilst leaving his team mates to cover his mess.

Crouch's last minute winner against the Skates in the cup. Beattie against West Ham in 2002 Tessem's winner against Sunderland Waigo against Norwich in the JPT (I went bananas when that went in) Barnard's winner at Yeovil in the sunshine Barnard's equaliser at Brighton Fonte's winner at Brighton DMGs winner at Preston Rasiak at Pride Park in the playoffs

Sharp should play because he can score in games when apparently nobody else could. Describing SDR as "running around a lot" does him a disservice IMO. He has pace and is very direct, but we don't really play to his strenghts. His problem is made a lot worse by the fact that a) he only seems to get 30 mins to prove himself. Half what Guly gets and a third of the time most other players get. b) He is often chucked into games where we aren't playing well and need someone to turn the game around. In the games where we play well and are already 2-0, he often gets left on the bench.

Arsenal at home was the one where Prutton got sent off and received a 10 match ban for a light shove on the ref. Ludicrous penalty, but that's another topic. Prutton sent off Arsenal scored Van Persie sent off Crouch scores from a corner. Paul Smith pulls off a sh*t load of awesome saves, easily as good as Kelvin was at Leeds. 1-1 draw.
