Maybe it stands for offside? Quite an achievement for a centre half with the manoeuvrability of an aircraft carrier.

It was like playing FIFA on the PS3, when you're taking a FK and accidentally press X instead of O.

Cats in the garden are fairly easy to get rid of. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/5999091/Pet-cat-eaten-by-13ft-python.html

Fonte and Lallana should be in, but that's it. AOC might have a chance, but he is inconsistent and I wouldn't pick him. Lambert, not a chance. Very inconsistent this season and a large chunk of his goals came from 12 yards out. Barnard would be my 1st choice striker at the moment.

I'd forgotten about that. Priceless.

Don't know what people are moaning about, we did exactly what we had to last night. Win comfortably. Yeovil came here with a simple plan. Stick 5 in midfield, stiffle all creativity and hope for a scrappy draw, or at best a Walsall style fluke goal. We managed to break them down and took our chances when they came. You can't really ask for much more that that. Having said that, there were a few sloppy performances. My thought's on the players: Davis - 5 Never really troubled, but feck me he made a meal of trying to put a cross over the bar. Dodgy kicking at times too. A throw in in your own half isn't good. Butters - 6 Never got too adventurous down the right and was barely troubled defensively. Great awareness for the first goal Fonte - 7 By far our best CB. We'd be terrible without him. A couple of panicked clearances. Martin - 7 Did alright considering his chances have been limited. Looked better on the deck than in the air, which was unfortunate as he had a lot of long balls to deal with. Harding - 7 Nothing wrong here, supported Lallana well. AOC - 7 Was a bit quite, but some decent skill in the lead up to his goal and a couple of decent runs. Hammond - 4 Looked like he was running in marmalade most of the time. Didn't really put a shift in. Chaplow - 6 Not his best performance. How the ref booked him for that challenge I'll never know. Lallana - 8 A touch of class Lambert - 5 still looks overweight and a bit lethargic at times. Barnard - 8 Looked switched on and took his chances. A worker and would be my first choice striker. Subs: Gobern - 6 Had a couple of good moments Forte - 6 Didn't think he was that bad, apart from his tribute to BWP with the 1-on-1. Richardson - Wasn't on all that long, but I'd probably start him at RB. He hasn't really had a decent run since his injury and Butters isn't all that.

I get it. I get why this guy hates Britain, I get that he is in a small minority and that most Muslims despise his principles. My point is that we shouldn't be publicising this guy by making a massive deal of it. The only value his actions have is the value we give it. I could burn a poppy, Quran, Bible or whatever in my house right now. Would it matter? No, because nobody is there to see it. People like this should be ignored, then their gestures are powerless. This guy wants to burn a poppy, fine here's a lighter, go nuts. I'll just get on with my life. However by creating a media sh*tstorm about it we're giving this guy the attention and conflict he craves. I know. I just think there are bigger and more tropical fish to fry.

A typical sensationalist response to something which will cost us each 0.00008 pence. I'm not saying it's morally right, but when compared to the billions at stake in cuts to defence and other public sector jobs it really is silly. If I had my way this wouldn't even be in the news. "Man is bit of a mong" hardly life changing stuff.

Are you suggesting Port Vale didn't win the 2014 Champions League?

Without going into benefit abuse, which is a completely different issue, I agree with Benji and Verbal on this. This nobber is clear out to stir up racial hatred and xenophobia by disrepecting out national heroes. There's no crime here really IMO. He hasn't damaged property, assaulted anyone. You can't exactly accuse him of inciting racial hatred either, even if it is his aim, because he hasn't said anything racist. I would treat it like I'd treat that muslim organisation who wanted to march through Wooton Bassett. Let him. At the end of the day nobody gets hurt and everyone knows what a disrespectful piece of sh*t this guy is. He will probably get his head kicked in by a couple of skinheads to boot.

Only change I'd make is starting with the Martian in defence for Jaidi. Pretty sure Adkins will go with Seaborne however. MIGHT be tempted to rest AOC for Guess ahead of the Bompey trip.
-
I see what you did there.
-
Of all the posters on here off their trolley, I never knew you were one of them. Get rid of defence entirely? Behave.
-
Not entirely sure I follow, but no. Lettuce forum and lemon party are two completely seperate entities.

He could have Saints Web opened in several windows, write several posts, then post them all at the same time. I used to do this on http://www.lettuceforum.co.uk all the time. Had some furious arguments with myself about raddish, then got banned becaused apparently that's off topic. They take their lettuce way to feckin' seriously.
-
We don't need anybody. The players we have just need to play better.
-
No it isn't. Realistic maybe, but when have Saints EVER given a sh*t about the form book. We could go there and win or lose 4-0. Walsall was only our 3rd League defeat since the middle of November. Sh*t happens. Promotion will depend on how well we get over results like that. I wont even take a guess at the result because our form seems to be almost entirely random.
-
Amazing that such a quality piece of skill could be seen at such a tiny ground. I bet there were only about 34 people watching.

Dave Nugent on a free how about it?
Lighthouse replied to K,Billy's supersound's topic in The Saints
I'd take him IF he'd take a sensible wage. Done pretty well in some sh*t teams IMO. -
I know why they do it, doesn't mean it's right. Surely it's not beyond the realms of possibility to implement a fair system and draw similar profit margins. Just charge more for people who have had accidents.

Personally I think insurance should depend entirely on years of no claims bonus, although maybe some factors like location and where it's parked should be included. Factors like age, gender and occupation shouldn't be a factor. I'm not more likely because I'm a bloke in my 20s. I am however less likely to crash because I've got 4 years NCB, compared to someone who's 2 write offs in the last 5 years. I don't buy the whole 'statistics' argument either. It's like saying black people should be banned from using high street banks because statistically black people commit more robberies. It's just wrong.

Muppet. For a start, Pardew wasn't sacked for his results. Clearly there was something else going on behind the scenes (and Christ knows we've had enough suggestions on here) which meant he had to go. Secondly, despite tonights result Adkins form has been pretty good since he's been here. Thirdly, this is Saints. They've served up naught but disappointment for nigh on a decade. We wont get promoted, regardless of whether it's Adkins, Pardew, O'Neil, Fergie or Mourinho is charge.

Agreed. The woman at 3:58 could make a fortune in porn.

Tegucigalpa is probably the craziest major airport in the world, although not as nutty as Lukla in Nepal.
