BWP scored on his debut, then seemed to just get progressively worse over the next 3 years. Also David Connolly at Oldham last year. Remember it well, I was there. Came on as a sub, then broke through 1 on 1. Sent the 'keeper completely the wrong way from a challenging angle. Thought we'd found an absolute gem there. It's a shame because he's probably the best finisher in the club, if only he wasn't stuck in the treatment room all the time.

Stern John for me. Turned up for pre season training claiming he wanted to earn a new contract. We offered him one when the takeover went through, then he f**ks off to Palace. The worst bit was he blamed us saying we took too long to offer him a contract. Don't like Phillips or Fuller either.

Personally I'm not that bothered about it either, but the whole thing just seemed so half baked. The anniversary has been built up to an extent in the media and with the sash shirts, then when the actual dates turns up it's a complete none-event.

Holmes - 8 Had an excellent game. Think he took the free kick that lead to one of the goals. Connolly - n/a Didn't really have time to make much impact.

Only driver change so far is Williams dropping Hulkenburg for Maldonado. Bad move IMO. I'm guessing they were somewhat forced into it by financial reasons having lost their sponsorship from RBS and Air Asia, but Hulk trounced Maldonado in GP2 in '09.
