Apparently hughes was quite pleased and on our day we can go up against the big boys and give them a game. I saw no evidence in a free hit of a 2nd half of even trying to give Liverpool(who were in 2nd gear) a game. Must be some exceptionally rare day such as 29th February.

That was pretty atrocious. An exercise in how to set up with zero ambition yet roll over in the quickest time possible. That starting lineup by hughes was pretty poor even with the 3 missing players. Liverpool were barely trying in the 2nd half & yet equally we didn't have any ambition other than to keep the score down. No doubt he'll stumble on for a long time yet but eventually saints will hopefully get rid of the useless hughes. Also so fed up of the useless shane long waltzing into the starting lineup.

Remember when we at least tried to play against them rather than setting up from minute one to keep the goal difference down.

Different to being all over by 21 minutes.

That's a horrible depressing thought. Getting rid of the horrid useless Hughes only to replace him with horrid Fat Sam. Please no.

Sack the useless idiot Hughes. Garbage lineup getting treatment it deserves.

Other poor teams kept us up last season rather than anything particular Hughes did. This season is just showing how mediocre he is.

So maybe no Ings. Extra helping of joy of watching the waste of space that is Long given yet another chance.

You wonder if McCarthy has been told not to come for crosses after coming & missing last game or if his confidence was dented by those misses.

Lovely goal by hojberg. Pretty Atrocious game on the whole that we found a way to draw. Long laughably bad. Falling over, handling the ball, clearing it when through. If an academy player played that badly we’d be told they should be loaned to league one.

Hardly, it’s the double whammy of being loan signings and ones that were signed extremely late in the window. Sims has already made an impact twice, so you’d expect him to get a start soon at reading.
