  1. Stephens is easily championship level. He could do a Mings if gets the right move and applies himself. Jwp is an England international, hardly a make do player. Shaw is a guy who has wasted his talent so Far. Watching him getting embarrassed by Huddersfield and others last season was funny.
  2. No hesketh.
  3. Ins: no one Out; lemina, Carrillo, hesketh
  4. But they haven't got better by and large. They are largely the same standard.
  5. What's the point you are making, that they all have some equally average centre backs as there's very few worldies in there.
  6. His behavior with 2 previous managers left something to be desired. That said i’d Happily see him offered a another chance.
  7. I saw seri early against Burnley and he was fantastic, though clearly that wasn’t always the case.
  8. Like when we had a left back with half a season and an untried right back in (Shaw and chambers) One right back(clyne) and an unwanted left back(Fox)
  9. Wonder if reed is going to be a beneficiary of the whole lemina situation.
  10. Certainly shown enough promise to be given some more opportunities this season. Dependent on how well he does would surely decide his future beyond that. Assume we'll move one of Elyounessi/Boufal on.
  11. Can't say i'm all that excited by the sort of rumour that is prefaced around the notion of someone prizing away their current rightback beforehand first.
  12. I'm somewhat hopeful that better levels of fitness from pre-season will help improve in that regard, in the worst case scenario where we have to work with what we've got.
  13. Is Hesketh not another one of the 34?
  14. One disaster off the books at least. Few more to go.
  15. They have a tendency of giving large amounts of money to Liverpool in return for taking tripe. So at least we beat them in that regard.
  16. Wonder if Hesketh is close to sorting out a move. Also wonder if Adams going is a PR exercise for the chinese audience, showing off the new signing.
  17. Saints goal was a complete gift. Nice movement by preston’s Bodin but then it was the useless hoedt he breezed past.
  18. I’m hopeful proper pre-season intensity will be a help.
  19. Can’t see it, he’s been woeful with us and then woeful on loan.
  20. Confused why we should keep an underperforming player who wants to leave at all costs. Personally i'd happily take a decent fee for him and invest it in a player that wants to be here.
  21. Yeah the other day i was astounded looking at Wikipedia at the number of goals he has scored given how poor he's been.
  22. "I will be 39 in January but I am physically fit and could have carried on. What I didn't want to be was someone who was thrown on to have balls smashed up to them." This line amused me. So basically going to Burnley made him want to retire.
  23. Decent move for Sam & money for Saints. Hope he can kick on with first team football for them.
  24. The reality is that we are never going to get that sort of fee for someone who is on the fringes of our squad, who while talented has never performed with any sort of consistency. I'll be happy just to escape from this one unscathed and invest that money elsewhere in someone committed to Ralph's project.
  25. Seems fine. Hopefully we can get it sorted quickly.
