Looking pretty bad for Saints. Simply have to beat West Ham next week. Then get wins against Swansea & Bournemeouth. Then anything from tough ties against Chelsea, Leicester, Everton, Arsenal, Man City is bonus points.

Not someone i wanted anywhere near Saints as manager. Glad at least it's only a contract to the end of the season. Let's just hope he can do enough to keep us out of the relegation zone.

WOuld sum up saints if they finally sacked Pellegrino only to replace him with the appalling Hughes. Worse still is the thought he’ll likely linger even if he got us relegated. Hoping bookies know nothing & club have a much better option up their sleeve.

Hughes, a surefire way to depress me straight after the relief of Pellegrino sacking. I'd prefer Bilic to that horrible manager.

Horrible performance. That’s 1 point from 2 six pointers with one more to go. Horrible tactical changes made at ht Even in the short period we dominated possession at 1-0 we were our usual toothless self. 2nd goal really annoyed me, lemina fell over and then Cedric kept backing off rather than engaging the player running with the ball. Maybe he was shocked as none of our players ever run with the ball. If he gets sacked that might be a positive to take from this debacle. Hopefully we get Silva in and he shakes things up.

Got to say i think they should just stick with goal line technology & not use VAR. VAR seems to create delays, confusion & often ends up making as many contentious decisions as a regular ref on the spot because the sorts of decisions it is analysing are more complex than simple over line/not over line.

Against the likes of Stoke just like Burnley, i think our best bet for a goal is from open play.

Perfect result for me. Tomkins got me a FF cleansheet, then went off injured & Spurs got the goal i wanted as a saints fan.

We needed to go there & get a point, especially given other results. Not a particularly good display. Hopefully Gabbi will go on a run now. Still really not a fan of Carrillo but if he is to play we need someone else like Gabbi in and around the average lump. Sims nice and bright, not a afraid to have a go too. Hopefully he's involved more. Would love to see Hesketh in too.
