  1. Very nice to feel that winning feeling again. Very happy reed impressed on debut but frustrated as he should have been involved in previous games.
  2. Thank goodness. Still don't get why he hasn't been used even as sub yet but this makes me marginally more hopeful that we are at least going to put round pegs in round holes.
  3. Yikes with all those players out it could be an interesting line-up. Below is the best i could fashion. Forster Clyne Fonte Yoshida Bertrand Aderweireld Reed JWP Isgrove Mane Long
  4. To me that would be nuts, just not play any midfield & hope Everton don't rip us to shreds through the middle.
  5. If Davis is out reed has to start. Personally I'd start him anyway leaving Toby to play at centre back.
  6. No cork, Morgan or wanyama. No doubt reed will spend another 90 minutes sitting on the bench unused. Can't say I'm optimistic.
  7. Hoping Reed finally gets a chance.
  8. Another disappointing display. Annoying that we haven't got a trustworthy penalty taker anymore, what a difference it would have made to get our heads in front when presented with a golden opportunity.
  9. Agree the one against Arsenal was poor.
  10. Grrr missed penalty. How we miss having a good penalty taker like Lambert and Le Tiss.
  11. Glad to see Koeman is so unhappy at losing to such a mediocre team.
  12. We've lost to Spurs, liverpool, city, Utd, arsenal. Just Chelsea to complete the full sweep. We capitulated to an abysmal man Utd team tonight, that was atrocious. Can gaal is laughing all the way back to Manchester.
  13. Why play vastly underperforming mane and risk getting caught out in midfield. Go back to the solid 3 in midfield approach that got us points.
  14. Agree completely. Should be asking for a loan move if the manager has zero faith in him.
  15. Sorry second half it was completely obvious we were being caught out regularly.
  16. Still want reed in the team. The midfield looked unbalanced against a woeful Man Utd.
  17. Rolling over to all the top teams isn't spirit.
  18. Embarrassing display, whereby saints gifted three points to an abysmal United team. Rolling over when they play a big team. Only bright side is I guessed they'd do as much and bet on it.
  19. Time to go bet on Man Utd. Crazy not to start reed imo and instead utterly unbalance the team the way that failed horribly in villa game.
  20. Yeah if we play Yoshida or Gardos in midfield i'll be extremely disappointed.
  21. If Cork or Morgan aren't fit then yes he should start.
  22. BT Sport said it was his fourth but i wouldn't trust them as i thought Sky said his fourth was against Man City.
  23. Agree i'd have much preferred Reed instead but can't fault effort that was put in. If Toby's hamstring had of gone a minute or so earlier we could have brought on Reed and likely kept a deserved point.
  24. Gutsy performance that deserved a point. Forster was excellent. Gutted we lost the excellent Cork(hoping its only minor and he'llbe back shortly) and then losing our best defender once we'd made our third move. Arsenal were extremely lucky and we right now need a slice of luck against Man Utd to stop this becoming a slide. Disappointed about the goal too, never should have been allowed to make that cutback.
  25. Bad luck with injuries finally arriving to scupper what has been a great start. Losing Cork was a blow but losing our best defender too(leaving us with 10 men was gutting). A really gutsy display tonight by Saints, much better than sunday imo. Deserved a point but sadly jammy Arsenal sneak a win. Worried about Monday as the injuries mount. Thought Pelle played well but in the scheme of things he's got to be taking those golden chances against the likes of Arsenal if we are to compete.
