  1. Today was just predictable, including the head scratching let's not bother with subs despite us looking horrible. Surely it would have made more sense to have been less open, maybe go back to the 5 at the back and try and counter on Brentford. Interested to see if we see a GK change again as we're back to looking completely suspect at balls in the box.
  2. Are Everton or Brentford a Wolves?
  3. Weren't there people before the Villa game arguing how few of their squad would make a best combined XI.
  4. Just saw Chelsea fell apart again. Not exactly heartering given we may need them to save our bacon by beating Leeds.
  5. Not saying Dyche would be my preference but wouldn't be howling in outrage at the notion given how soft saints currently are. In the championship Cooper looks good(if Forest stay down). Wilder is also a decent manager.
  6. Probably fitting if he goes after another 9 nil.
  7. That would be atrocious. Effectively ' a we don't care if we get relegated/ don't take seriously the situation' message
  8. What i don't understand is a manager who looks at something not working and does nothing about it. Please can we appoint someone who actually appoint a replacement who change things if we're getting embarassed.
  9. Good to hear 'don't know what you are doing' chant.
  10. Sorry they have to sack him.
  11. Yeah amazing the halfwit is actually pleased with this 11.
  12. Adams looking completely fed up on the bench with not even being considered when team is 2 nil down and looking completely embvarassingly bad/
  13. Just completely fed up of Raph's substituations.
  14. How can Ralph look at this useless lot and go they are doing great i won't bother making a sub.
  15. Make sub Ralph. Bring Adams and Tella on.
  16. Trying to concede any time the opposition have the ball. Don't get Saints desperation to slowly work the ball out wide. We don't look the slightest bit threatening. For all the time on the ball only efforts i can remember is 2 offside shots and a JWP shot which Raya made a camera save for. Going to need favours from Arsenal and Chelsea to stay up at this rate which is truly pathetic from position we were in in March. Just saw Ings has at least done us a favour and made it harder for Burnley to catch us.
  17. Any other streams? The weakstream one just died.
  18. Great comedy swipes from our attackers.
  19. Truly pathetic. Be really lucky to avoid relegation.
  20. I don't see the need for a young prospect at all. If a B keeper comes through and impresses on loan great but it's hardly a straightforward position to develop players at prem level. I'd prefer to be singing a GK in the 24-26 age range given they tend to peak later. Old enough so they've got proper experience under their belt at a decent level. I don't have a huge issue with keeping Mccarthy but you want to be signing someone who can compete with him immediately and ideally sooner rather than later make him the bench keeper.
  21. After reading the Guardian's blurb about the game where apparently Ralph Hassenhuttl's side has put in a few decent displays of late. I'm now worried that Ralph must be moonlighting as a manager of another football club.
  22. Love Seeing City fail at the thing they want most.
  23. I'm hopeful we'll get at least 1 point from here in. I do feel the we can lose every game brigade are a bit overconfident of Arsenal/Chelsea being incapable of dropping a point to a lesser team despite recent evidence to the contrary.
  24. If we don't get another point feel we could well get relegated. My hope is that we can scrap a something from the brentford game ideally or if not last day against mid table leicester.. I could see everton getting the 8/9 points necessary(beat watford, brentford, palace etc), Burnley getting 6(beat Newcastle & Villa) and Leeds scrambling 7(beat Brentford, Brighton & then pulling a shock result like everton just got agasint say arsenal.. It's a pitiful state of affairs that we collapsed to this position.
  25. Maybe the distant 'threat of relegation' will stimulate saints team to ditch the flipflops.
