Wow 7.5m for Hooper - I haven't seen the guy all that much but that seems a bit over-priced doesn't it? I know Okaka had a lot of potential and excited people a few years back, doesn't seem to have developed quite as expected but perhaps a change of club is what he needs. Don't remember him doing an awful lot at Fulham.

I don't think they would! If you refuse to play for Saints whilst still happily accepting your wages from the club you can get out and never come back.

Would be quite funny to see Kenwyne Jones come back just to see the amount of abuse he would get! Still remember the game (I think against Stoke which is ironic!) when he refused to play and we sent some very abusive chants his way from the Northam - "Kenwyne Jones, what a w*nker, what a w*nker!" and so on!

MK Dons was a great one for me - my brother had travelled to stay with me and to watch that game and at 0-2 down at HT the disappointment couldn't be contained. However, neither could the jubilation when Forte got his 2 and Barnard got the winner - had a group of bald men in the row behind us who fell into our row whilst celebrating which battered us on 3 occasions but they kept celebrating with us and was such a superb comeback and atmosphere which led us to believe that we could secure a top 2 finish.

Remember him getting a MOTM performance at CB in one game and seeing him outside the ground with his bottle of champagne - how times move on!

Amazed that we are still top of the league! Certainly do not deserve to be. I love Adkins but starting to really question some of his tactical decisions over recent months. 3-0.

Poor performance, very poor result, still top of the league which is excellent but need to up the performances substantially over the coming months if that is where we want to stay!

Good thread! It's easier to notice/comment on the negatives but overall this season has been superb so far and everyone has contributed to that success. Would be delighted and rather confident if we now get a top striker in in January, certainly someone like Sharp if we can't convince the guy himself. That may be the difference between automatics and playoffs come the end of the season!

Anyone who has been to even a handful of away games will realise that this was a standard Guly away performance - no fight, workrate, effort or anything else. How the hell he was on the pitch for the whole game is shocking. Cost us the win for sure.

Harding for me! Fox needs to stop all these cross-field balls to the RW which 9/10 don't reach him or require a hopeful header. Harding seems more determined to over-lap on the LW and get to the byline and cross. Fox seems to want to cross from deep or try these hopeful punts up field. Plus Harding is better defensively as he doesn't often let his man past him. Fox has the flair and obvious talent and perhaps it's the transfer fee which is making me critical of him but I just think he needs to up his game for a LB who cost as much as he did.
