Firstly not getting carried away. The City, Arsenal and Utd games in December will be a big indicator, but if we get through those games and the big man Pelle keeps scoring then why not? We have very good squad depth unlike last year too and JRod back hopefully by mid December. We can genuinely put up a real challenge for 5th to 8th in my opinion. Your wisdom and thoughts?

I would disagree. He's probably our best midfielder for linking play with the front 3 and keeping the tempo up. All in my opinion of course.

I would rather have a foreign manager to inject a bit of creativity and tempo to the England team. In terms of future England manager candidates, Mark Warburton seems like one for the future.

I'm am totally mystified by the decision to keep Hodgson. He is one of the most uninspiring men in football who along with Warnock and Southgate looks like an Owl (not sure that is relevant). The future of England football is f*cked whilst we have a useless FA. The argument that we concede a poor national team for a great domestic league is nonsense too. Look at Germany and before them Spain. The whole system needs a complete revamp and the FA could look to us for inspiration. To compare England with Saints they are at the Saints admin era.

Could not ask for a better home game. Defensively they are dreadful and were mostly outplayed by Stoke last game. Same team as the Swansea one with Gardos/Toby in for Yoshida. 3-1 win for me. Also hope Arsenal respond with a ranking of Spurs before we play them.

Any news on Toby's injury? No I'm not attempting to spell the surname.

Let's not get too carried away here. But yes the defence is looking very impressive, especially with the depth. Fonte surely deserves a cap for Portugal. He's matured like a fine wine.

My dad took me to my first game there, mid week against Villa. I was 4 and moaned the whole way through till eventually we left just before injury time and Le Tissier blasted in a free kick to win 2-1, remember hearing the stadium erupt as we left. Dad didn't take me back for a while after that!

It would be an utter travesty if he left on a free but I'm confident they'll sort it out. Cork will play for England before the end of the season IMO. A regular starter for me. Offers more than Davis and JWP with quicker forward passing.

Perhaps a stand named after him? Would love a Le Tissier stand too.

Good news. Really have to say well done to the board in terms of representing fans wishes eg. return to stripes, better communication and now a ML tribute which has been mentioned on here before. Very happy with things at Saints at the moment which would not have expected June time.
