I agree with your post, I think with an inform punch, AL and Gaston we have 3 fantastic skillful attackers, i also think that is faster than he looks - the number of times he charged through the middle whilst dribbling leaving NUFC players in his wake was a joy to behold! Also, his skill. even when he miss controlled it he kept the ball I think he is quality and his work rate is fantastic also! However, I can not agree with your description of Lambert as "hardly lacking pace", (I assume you were referring to him in your 4 players.) Seriously, he was the slowest player on that pitch... what have you been smoking??

Great team performance, they all had good games but Punch, Lallana, Gaston, Cork and Morgan bossed it for me! Fonte was also superb at the back and was totally on his game. Also what looked like a fantastic save from Gazza with some good antics and goalie celebration to remember for the 2nd goal! Think he has a quality sense of humour and confidence for such a young and inexperienced keeper! Also, I may be proved wrong on MOTD, but I think that has to be the worst referee and linesmen double act I will ever see. Sadly it won't get shown fully on MOTD but he missed so many blinders, throwings, corners... was ridiculous. I'm not even mentioning the penalty or offside goal. Atkinson should be struck off. Horrendus!! Its a bigger positive for me today that we won against 12men than the fact that is 3 games unbeaten or that we got a clean sheet etc. He was that bad.................!!! Seriously, Lambert, our best player? Jesus Christ. He is one of a few key players. We are premier league now, he is slow, and he is 30. I love him to bits but he is not going to be suited to every game so he shouldn't expect to start every game.. He has not been stand out in any of the last 3 matches.... others have, yet he is our best player? I wonder if we are paying him the same as Gaston, or davies for that matter. Personally I think Lallana is more important for our team now and going forward. Don't get me wrong. Lambert is a class player and a strue saints legend... But gallas totally handled him and others will as well. He will not be suited to all oppositions.
