3 minutes from time ex-Pompey Conor Chaplin scores to level for Ipswich 😆 1 win in 13 for the few now.

Half a million EU workers went home, thanks to which, the pubs are shut: "Half of UKH’s members are making adjustments such as these – to opening hours or capacity – as a result of labour shortages." https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/dec/28/pubs-struggle-to-retain-staff-after-brexit-and-covid-double-whammy

Meh, we're shit but so are the others.

Oh they can do worse. Walcott does do much worse. I'm completely positive it was a run out for the second string and that the first XI with Adams up front will be taking on Lincoln.

Nice to see we're not wasting the huge Brexit dividend that's going to fund our NHS Festival of Brexit was ‘monumental cock-up’, MPs tell culture secretary

Indeed, so while actual levels of UK exports have yet to recover to 2017 levels the smug little pillock bigs up 800 billion pounds worth of fictional "new" trade. It's such a pathetic and patent lie.

No it isn't

What we need, is to be able to pay them the sort of absurd salaries they can get elsewhere. Newcastle have had no problems buying quality despite what was a lowly league position.

The New Statesman makes the point that Truss pushed through the Australia deal to make herself look good (Wow look Brexit we have a shiny deal) while fucking over the farmers in the knowledge that actually it wasn't a good deal for the UK. So, of all the only oven-ready deal we've signed is shit, and we've given up on deals with the US, or China or India and we've torn up the one that added 4 percentage points (which is a hell of a lot) to our GDP because of 20 years of stories in the Sun about banana curvature - meanwhile austerity. I'm so glad I live broad. Every time I come back to the UK, which isn't very often, the place looks poorer, and the people I talk to are struggling. The UK doesn't even seem to be able to afford to fund essential services like schools or the NHS properly anymore. It's bitterly depressing, and it's down to the Tories and to Brexit. Great that truckers get paid more though.

He is nothing like good enough, which is not his fault. Shane Long offered way more with his hold up play, speed and aerial ability than Adam ever will.
