I was pleased to see Harry Reed coming on and getting a game, but, to be honest he looked nervous and off the pace. JRod looked good though, I thought, as did Cedric. Romeu and van Diyk were dominant as always. We can play play better than that.

As another attempt to change the format of lower league competitions falls by the wayside, Mark "CEO of the year" Catlin's mug-splitting grin couldn't be broader. Is it just me, or are they a bunch of nay-saying retrogrades. Every time someone comes up with a new format for a competition their stock response seems to be fury.

Truly massive club Steal a march on Eastleigh I'd say there's a bit of a disconnect in there somewhere... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/j-lowe-set-to-arrive-on-block-as-pompey-dream-comes-true-1-7652252?

Because they're the passionatemostest, every one of their fans counts for three of ours. Plus, TCWTB counts for 50.

There's a whole squad of players Pompey let go as not good enough now performing well in the Championship and League 1 and 2. If this seems strange, the News has an explanation. It's not the resultater of chronic mismanagement - ripping up the squad every summer and employing clueless managers incapable of getting the best out of the players, it's because... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/thriving-fratton-failures-offer-pompey-food-for-thought-1-7647821

Saints 1 Sunderland 0 - Arsenal away in the quarter-final

Boufal is from another planet - honorable mention for Harry Reed, I thought he was comfortably our best midfielder today. -

Anyone else having problems with the stream?

They're closer to the relegation places than they are to being joint top (but they're still joint top, obviously).
-
Secretly they hated it. As they know, League 2 is just better than European football, it's closer to jumpers for goalposts and further from prawn sandwiches.
-
They'd rather be playing Wycombe - that's real football. They hated having to play Milan.

Romeu is now an improvement on Wanyama
Danbert replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
Right now, I'd definitely rather have Romeu. He's been peerless. -
Winner

You can also get 11/1 on 0-0. Very tempting if you ask me. Can't see us creating many chances without Cedric and Bertrand to swing in the crosses.

Illustrious previous winners include Karren Brady

Pompey are looking into doing a preseason tour of the States, which I guess makes sense as all the other big clubs are doing it. They're expecting "someone else" to pay for the trip though....

Tactical genius Paul Cook is at it again. Q. So Paul, our away form this season isn't great, what's changed? A. What's changed is that we're inconsistent. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/pompey-boss-pinpoints-cause-of-away-day-woe-1-7617784?

Paul Cook really is a Grade-A imbecile.

Against Leicester, I thought we were a better team with him on the pitch, and for me he's way better than Martina. Hope he's not seriously injured.
