The Forum should move on, Mr Biscuits knows what's best... I for one will continue to enjoy holding a grudge - schadenfreude being one of my main footballing pleasures.

That was uncalled for. I'm guessing you read the Daily Mail? -
While I would prefer them to drop out of the league altogether, it would be funny to see if they can keep up the "big club" nonsense in League 1 where there are a good few other clubs who won trophies a couple of generations back and are capable of drawing a crowd.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/773327/Leeds-transfer-shock-Premier-League-club-plot-raid-star-Scouts-sent-watch-him-News-Gossip We've been interested since he was at Malmo (allegedly) and have sent scouts to watch him. If there's anything in it at all, it's probably just that he's one of the many players we keep tabs on.

I fancy us to finish well up the league next season. Without the pressure of playing every three days, we'll be pushing the big six teams all the way.

This and also - Puel did a cracking job - kudos to him

10 years ago he was a poor Pompey striker who left them for Olympiakos. Today, he's a 36-year-old without a contract, and suddenly Pompey are his true passion and spiritual home and he wants to come back. Do other clubs do this? I've not noticed it. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/lualua-i-want-to-come-home-to-pompey-1-7834446

It proves absolutely sweet FA. We're in a final, quit complaining.
-
That's a wonderful dream but Man U have a heck of a lot of height in their side with players like Pogba 1.91, Fellalini 1.94 and Ibrahimovic 1.95. Caceres is only 1.83 - it would be a horrible mismatch to have him pick up Zlatan.

Jordan Cross writes incoherent rubbish, and he doesn't know what an analogy is. "Paul Cook this week used the analogy of a clipped, intense round-robin to sort out who’s getting out of terrain which feels increasingly godforsaken in footballing terms." http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/the-clatter-of-pompey-promotion-numbers-being-crunched-1-7823345

I think most of us are looking forward to the cup final.

Can I be the first to congratulate the Skates on beating Accrington Stanley at home. With that result, they're sitting pretty in sixth spot in League 2.
-
Not good enough, Puel out. We are heading for relegation. And what is Reed doing wasting money on Gabbiadini when we're calling out for a new centre back.

I can only conclude that the News have set some poor work experience nark to ape the wonderful Mr Allen. Anyways, it's resulted in a fantastic piece about the legendary power of the amazing few including: - The night "Ronaldinho and Co paid tribute to the Fratton faithful." - Laugh-a-minute spelling and grammar errors such as: "A special night which has gone down in Pompey Legend. A huge army of 12,000 fans mad the pilgrimage to Anfield for the League Cup tie." - A non sequitur of an ending: "Here’s five other memorable games when the club’s following took centre stage." (except there aren't five other games) http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/the-days-when-pompey-fans-showed-their-might-1-7810470

22 minutes gone, and it's 2-0 City. Fonte was bypassed by De Bryne for the first goal, and left for dead by Sane for the second goal. I'm definitely not bitter.

Transfer Deadline Day Jan 2017 Edition
Danbert replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
This. Ppeople need to calm down. Scoring goals has been our problem this season, and I'm glad signing a striker is our top priority. We have four centre backs, one of whom is injured and the club have not confirmed the nature of the injury or how long he is expected to be out for. I would imagine that either Romeu or Bertrand could also fill in at centre back if need be. It's hardly a desperate situation, particularly as we'll have far fewer games to play in the second half of the season.
