World's greatest journalist misspells own name shock: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/cardiff-2-pompey-1-nel-allen-s-match-report-1-8093620

Impressive work by the club once again. Signing a player who played in the previous season's Champions League Final has to be a first. I can't believe we have fans who complain about our recruitment.

Preventing the imminent collapse of the kipper shed Unfortunately, while these works look great, they are not the real “big ticket” items. Everyone has seen earlier reports of potential costs of around £5m and that is the broad number we are working to. ‘However, having seen deep into the South stand this summer, I would now expect a few surprises to come out of the woodwork on further projects. It’s like doing up an old car or property, it’s not an exact science. ‘By the end of these current works, all the remaining escrow money will have been spent – and some more. ‘The additional money has come from the club’s contingency fund, which itself has been helped by increased cash flow from the promotion to League One. Thick as mince with two left feet. He's not a patch on the Saints keepers I grew up with.

Everton sign Martina! Such ambition, surely nothing can stop them winning the league now. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-sign-cuco-martina-southampton-10782305

He has a groin strain, apparently. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nathaniel-chalobah/verletzungen/spieler/128900

I see they're in the process of electing a new PST board http://www.pompeytrust.com/news/calling-notice--pst-board-election-2017 I'm not sure exactly what the point is anymore though.

Looks like the club are hawking him around to try and get rid - which makes sense. https://www.clubcall.com/southampton/saints-man-offered-to-ligue-1-club-1856054.html

SRL has had his contract cancelled by Cardiff and is being linked with Plymouth so could well line up against the Skates next season. Having him score a few against them would bring joy to this old man's heart :-)
