  1. Thought we dominated them for long periods and created some decent chances. Fraser had another excellent game, and Boufal put in a positive performance. Stoke away is never going to be an easy game.
  2. I knew that
  3. Allegedly, they're also looking at Dexter Blackstock and Leon Best https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/sep/28/crystal-palace-carlton-cole-striker-shortage-free-agent
  4. Palace rumored to be interested in SRL http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/crystal-palace-transfer-news-rickie-lambert-free-agent-dougie-freedman-steve-parish-a7968586.html
  5. Not sure why anyone could give the remotest toss about any of their amazing firsts. It brings football down to the level of trainspotting, when it should be about getting ****ed and shouting a lot.
  6. Everton have a ton of firsts to be proud of, including: "FIRST CLUB TO USE FLOODLIGHTING ACROSS STANDS INSTEAD OF PYLONS"
  7. Looking forward to a 6-0 win - we'll go fourth
  8. Personally, I'm glad to see Long coming back in. Playing Gabbi isn't working.
  9. 'Fratton boy' Portsmouth MP makes 'play up Pompey' maiden speech in House of Commons Apparently, Everton weren't the first club to play under floodlights after all. And, another reason that Portsmouth is great is that it was the the first town to open free clinics for the treatment of venereal disease - who'd'v'e thought that would be necessary? The big question, though, is, can he do the wardrobe dive?
  10. Re, fat in the pipes... 'Total monster': fatberg blocks London sewage system
  11. Quite, they now have 3 number 10s, and no decent forward. Also, Ashley Williams is now officially way over the hill and Everton's defense is a mess. Their recruitment has been so splattergun it's unreal, the only signing to really work out is Pickford.
  12. We missed a bullet there, I think.
  13. Everton fans are calling for Koeman's head after they got massacred by Tottenham. They haven't won away since January, Koeman's obligatory signing from the Dutch league is said to be totally pants and they can't score for toffee (pun intended).

  15. Scored again today
  16. We were poor, but there were encouraging signs and I'm sure we'll get better. Credit to Pellegrino for the subs, we were better with Shlong on the pitch.

    CB Situation

He'll take Yoshi's place when we let him go, and spend this year in the U23s, I reckon.
  20. I read somewhere that he won a higher percentage of aerial duels than any other defender in Serie A last season. Admittedly he didn't get that many games, but that's certainly the key thing that a Stephens-Yoshi paring lacks. On the downside, he's not that quick.
  21. Hoedt transfer seems all but done https://talksport.com/football/transfer-news-southampton-close-ps1325million-deal-lazio-defender-wesley-hoedt-170817250823

  23. Just thought I'd share this comment on an article about the upcoming investment Tsunami that will make Fratton Park a byword for hospitality excellence:
  24. Mike Jones will be reffing - from memory, he's quite card happy
  25. 18.5 million for Andre Gray? Seriously?
