  1. Nail on the head, what is point in coming on here when you already know what people will have said? Trolling c*cks have ruined this site, why the fook should I waste my time, let alone any money, to read predictable ******* ****e from an endless procession of negative. Boring. Half-witted, border line clinically insane c*cks. I would advise lee to tear up his contract because our 'supporters' don't deserve a decent team and manager because nothing will ever be good enough. Oh and alpine in the highly unlikely event you are not a troll then you clearly are a c*nt and you and others like you will be the death of this once great site, where people could debate in good fun, without ****ing pathetic whining hand wringing from the same posters who clearly derive zero ****ing satisfaction from following Southampton fc. I love this club, we've got a great a GREAT team and a GREAT manager. What we lack are GREAT fans instead we end up with bed-wetters and spoilt kids... Lose a game - need new players, lose 2 games - need a new manager. Lose 3 games - sack the ****ing board. I want us to go up, desperately, but why are we so keen to lumber the club with more debt? We're running at a loss as it is! And now we get a frankly ridiculous thread essentially accusing the club of outright lying to us about a player signing... Some people out there want to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and assess where it was that their life went so wrong it left them so bitter and twisted. If they are trolling then when they finally kill this site for good then I hope it makes them really happy.
  2. It's article's like this that should make us think twice about calling for the club to spaff cash on over-priced players, I am very happy with our transfer policy so far, quality and value.
  3. Sigh, we really don't need to sign a player as expensive as it appears hooper is, we're top scorers and have added a new international striker to the squad as well as an attacking midfielder. In Guly and Lambert we have two of the top scorers in the division. People are just being greedy and acting like spoilt kids. Yes its exciting to be linked with strikers but we need a new cb more urgently. It's my belief that (if we do sign a striker) it'll be either a bit of brinksmanship late in the window or we might get a loan, like trotta for instance.
  4. Been meaning to post all week. But I wonder if this signing, alongside lee, means we're going to go full on barca style with a double pivot, 3 am's in supports of 1 up top? Seems a natural progression to me, especially with our attacking full-backs providing the width.
  5. Think some people have taken my posts literally so i'll try again. I'm not really saying that hooper would need to be 14 times better than lee, just that hooper doesn't fit with our transfer policy so far. We appear to be searching for value (cork and Guly are good examples) and going after Celtics star player does not look like good value, not denying his talent just that I think nc and na would probably find better value elsewhere.
  6. Seems about right based on his performances for Brighton
  7. But it kind of does though doesn't it? Half-decent British players don't really represent great value.
  8. I can't see us spending what would be an obscene amount of money in ccc terms for him. Looks like a good player but is he 14 times better than a current Japanese international?
  9. Lambert backup? tall, strong, fast, young and out of contract in the summer. Could be a god bit of business if true.
  10. We signed Jos, lee and NA has said he's working on 2 or 3 more so why are you *****ing?
  11. Stop feeding the troll people. He is either the least self aware man on gods earth, or a troll. no-one with such a negative attitude could live long without the aid of medication. No wonder he objects to the description of 'wrist slasher' Ohio saint... Post of the year already, kudos.
  12. Yet another attention seeking post from alpine the serial miserablist, stop feeding the troll. Anyone genuinely this pessimistic would surely be under medical supervision and therefore shouldn't be encouraged.
  13. Drama queen... Trust you to leap on a bit of potential negativity... We're doomed, doomed I tell ya!
  14. So this bloke said he worked for us, we never said anything now he says he no longer works for us? Could just be a self publicist perhaps and it was all ******?
  15. That, it seems to me, is the overall plan... Easier said than done mind.
  16. Do you mean mystical or mythical? I didn't know that this alleged new striker was a fortune teller? If you meant mythical I presume you'll be man enough to admit you were wrong when we do strengthen? Or will you slate them, then go quiet when they play well?
  17. As opposed to your view that it's more important to sign someone quickly, than make sure we sign the right player? We none of us have any idea how many things need to fall into place to sign a player, only someone as puffed up and arrogant as you would think it was 'easy'. I want us to strengthen as much as the next man, unlike you I assume that the professionals who run our club know what they're doing.
  18. sounds like exactly the sort of 'left field' deal we've made a habit of recently. He looks (albeit from limited clips) like a tricky player with a range of finishes, if not 'lightning quick' his touch looks good and he looks reasonably strong so should fit into our 'style' of play. Far rather take a £500k punt on him than overpay for a 'name' that we all know like Maynard, J-Rod, Lucas J.... Left footed as well (by the looks of things) so gives us a bit more balance up top!
  19. This... Although I am intrigued as to who i thought would be an ideal manager for next season.... It was a happier time... A time before alpine learnt how to work the innerweb
  20. Cracking player and a consumate pro, seemed like a decent bloke as well. Sad news
  21. As long as we react to every defeat with 2 or more wins we'll be still on track, we don't do draws!
  22. Would have thought stevie de would have been a more obvious replacement? Come on saints
  23. Neither of the pens given should've been, however, there were two assaults on rickie and Guly was practically forearm smashed and body checked in the first half... So how about we give them the two dodgy pens back and claim the 3 legitimate ones.... 4-0 and rickie on 13 league goals for the season.... Oh and poyet is a *****
  24. With a bit of luck we may well find out, I think he is though.
  25. Camara vs naaarch... Late goal, winner, screamer, loudest noise I've ever heard... Priceless!
