this is all in my opinion but I highly doubt someone who has the ligue 1 title under his belt would want to coach our under 18s...

Best Opposition Player At SMS This Season?

Gareth Barry impressed me with his finish, calm and cool as you like -

given how ****e Sunderland are to the point that Villa are currently outplaying them, I'm even more confident of safety as it has to be three points against them and surely we would be safe with 42 points! Wigan would have to win all their games to catch us! 5-1 and one man down as I type
-
we're safe but only just crawling over the finish line. past 3 games, i've been thinking win this and we can relax and enjoy the rest of our games. yet the players have started to press less and their minds some place else already. might have to wait till the sunderland game to confirm safety.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction
max_saints replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
well the team saw how SWF was slowly getting bored with the lull of mid table mediocrity and decided to add some spice to the end of our season. ramirez.... his play all season gets on my nerves and its been compounded with that deliberate elbow after 25 minutes worth of misplaced passes. fox... at most he's capable at this level nothing more, what was he doing going in two footed at the other end of the pitch only he would know. mayuka... what??? lallana... hasn't been the same ever since his injury. lambert has started to fade away as well maybe because of fatigue or something but he's been largely anonymous for large parts of recent games. forren????????? we need more reinforcements this summer!! -
YES at least we beat them on the red card count!
-
can't even beat them in number of red cards!!

whats even more incredible is that this is not even his first biting incident and he got a 7 match ban for a similar incident back in the dutch league. I expect a similar punishment if not more

12 months from now.....where will we be?
max_saints replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
"I think we will be about 12th in the Premier League, with the club announcing around about now that we have been sold to a South African/Japanese/Russian/American group of investors. If the Leibherrs want to get a return on their investment, then this time next year, when we are in the Premier League and looking safe for another season, is the best time to sell us on. Let's just hope they aren't mental case Indian chicken farmers, or full-of-it Yanks mortgaging the club they don't own to the hilt to generate cash to buy the club." -
Agreed with championship promotion. I fully expected a season in the championship to settle before pushing for promotion the following season but to achieve successive promotions was fantastic. prem league survival wise, I always felt our squad was just good enough to survive with our massive spendings therefore wouldn't consider it the greatest success.

btw speaking about ramirez, west ham's record signing was even worse! did not even know jarvis was on the pitch till he got subbed -

draw was a fair result. ramirez, what a frustrating player, one moment he's cooly finishing past the keeper and the next he's giving away balls or wasting free kicks. i think if we're looking to improve on this season and push for a top half finish next season, players like fox, jos and punch need replacing as while they're ok, they're not good enough for a team with top half ambitions. oh and i think jrod is going to be a key player for us next season -
lol at the people who get so irritated over one man's predictions and lol at the people who get so worked up that the former are getting irritated at one man's predictions
-
insane decision really. would be even more stupid if they don't have an immediate replacement, but even still, whoever takes over needs to hit the ground running with only 7 games left. if it means they've just secured themselves 18th position then I won't mind!
-
really has taken a step up under MP and is now brimming with confidence and taking on defenders with the belief he can beat them. worth noting that most of his goals are not just tap ins but really skillful finishes. hopes he continues to improve and become a key player next season (probably already is one this second half of the season)

April 6: Reading (A) April 13: West Ham (H) April 20: Swansea (A) April 27: West Brom (H) May 4: Tottenham (A) May 12: Sunderland (A) May 19: Stoke (H) so, 7 games left to play. based on current form I can see us getting 3 points each from reading, west ham and Sunderland games. maybe even a win at Swansea as they seem to have started their holidays early after their cup win. first time this season when I really feel very confident of our chances of staying up. I think we can start worrying less about the teams below us and just focus on securing 2-3 more wins and that should be enough!
-
it does look tight at the bottom half this season. if their prediction is anything to go by, the last relegation spot and 12th spot is only a difference of 3 points!

http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/barclays-u18-premier-league-tables.html?paramYouthStage=KNOCKOUT if we top the table, we still have to play a semi and a final before winning the whole thing. would be interesting

Adkins to look at Saints for transfer targets?
max_saints replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Saints
he can have Dickson and forecast -
not at that price, if not Chelsea themselves would have gone for this 'better right back'
