Lemina and Gabbiadini, two shining lights at the moment. Manolo showed a glimpse of his class creating that first goal all on his own, truly a top striker and must play every game from now. Hopefully the brace kick starts his 30 goal season! Lemina is class in the middle of the park as usual, hopefully Romeu is learning from him before his inevitable departure next August (too good for us)

He just looks so sluggish getting back on his feet after making the first save. I thought keepers often train going to ground and getting back up immediately. Every time he makes a save and the ball falls to the opposition, it’s a goal if the shot is on target.

This. The forum is being overrun with the usual negative posters and trolls. The team's current performances are not helping but it's so tiring to follow any thread on here at the moment.

That is poor man management in my opinion, VVD will continue his billy big balls attitude and the likes of JS will be thinking why bother? Make VVD fight for his place, continue to let him know he is not bigger than the club. JS & Yoshi will play out of their skins to keep their place in the team. Also, any backlash from the fans won't be as damaging as I believe with time, the fans won't feel as strongly as they do now directly after his transfer window farce. Of course I accept that there will be many opinions re: this topic and won't claim to know best how to deal with this situation. Gone are the days of SRL smashing it into the top corner, we now have a situation where a penalty awarded is not guaranteed a goal. This saga has really brought out the worst in modern football. What I do not understand is, why is VVD so impatient?? It's quite apparent we do not want to sell him, so accept that and knuckle down for the season ahead. He is still young, this is not going to be his 'last big payday' ala fonte. I am very confident if he just put his mind to it to play out another amazing season, he'd be looking at the likes of Barcelona and RM not Liverpool. Which begs the question of what is on his mind now? Is he not confident he'll be as good this season thus wanting to secure his big move?
