so much sweeter this season because of the summer we've had and how most, if not all, of the players who left us because of our lack of ambitions are currently below us.

no point having him back to be on the bench. he's a player that needs to be constantly playing in order to be match fit and effective, if we are going to use him like how Liverpool are using him as an impact sub or starting him once every 5 games or so, we won't get him playing at the level he used to for us

superb battling away win! back 5 was immense today. many were doubting toby but today he really stepped up and snuffed out almost every hull attack (much like lovren last season) today we weren't really good attacking wise but we showed what a good side we are by grinding out the win even when we're not at our best. for this reason, I'm starting to let myself believe that top 6 is actually possible. i cant reiterate the amount of praise i have for the team, RK, the back room staff, the scouts, the fans, the entire club as a whole really. I love the vibe we have here, we are southampton and we march on!

everyone keeps going on about the two games we lost against spurs and Liverpool. ignoring that, we have been consistently getting three points from the so called 'smaller teams' while Liverpool and spurs are dropping points to wham and Newcastle so doesn't that even out??

good win! however, I have to admit I did not like the second half one bit. players seem to be giving the ball away far too many times and unnecessarily too. should have been an easy win by at least 2 or 3 goals, after such a good first half. thought RK should have brought on long for the tiring tadic, would have held the ball better higher up the pitch and be a nuisance (which was what we brought him in for anyway) heard the commentators mention that RK has utilised the least amount of subs in the league, which I feel is something he should be taking advantage, both to provide fresh legs and also to waste a bit of time especially in games like today
