That first half against Everton was his best in our shirt IMO. Almost unplayable in that half... Newcastle he setup Lallana and scored the rebound but I dont remember anything more from that game either.... I think he had a good game against Liverpool but was subbed due to tactical reasons, we wanted to nullify Lucas that had been brought on and dominating first 10 minutes of 2nd half. Norwich away is imo the best away game, involved in almost everything we created in that game.

Yep they are. I also think Zarate has the attributes but I thought he would´ve gone further in his career than he has, somewhere it´s something missing, dont know if it´s his mentality or just that he hasn´t found the perfect club and setup for him? What can we get in for the players we might offload..... £2m for Sharp? £0.5m each for Chaplow, Guly, Fox and De Ridder? Another £4m gem in your head?

Can we switch Zarate for Lopez? Otherwise I´m with you, and perhaps Gamez for £2.5m. (has seen that figure somewhere)

I´ve only been here since late july But then you deserve some credit. Capel is a good shout but £4m seems low for a player with 3yrs left on his contract, but if he goes for that type om money he is definitely a good shout.

It would be wrong to get rid of Gaston from so many point of views. 1. Talent like that is not easy to find. 2. It´s not good to show players we want to sign that if they dont perform great the first year we want to get rid of them. 3. It´s very likely that he will improve significant and I think MP knows what kind of players he need around him to be a real force in this league, some pacey wingers for example... And just to compare, Kagawa in Man U had 20 games, 6 goals 4 assist. Not much better than Gaston and that´s playing for the Champions....

Wouldn´t have helped QPR though unless they would´ve won the "right" games. If they get up to 37 beating Wigan, Reading, Everton, West Brom for example they would still go down...

Said it on the match thread yesterday that we miss him, his linkup play is vital for us and takes JRod and Rickie into better positions, without him they tend to drift wide or too much back to pick up passes.

An advice people. If you want to put the season in three parts, start middle and finish you should be aware that games against Chelsea and Liverpool belong to the finishing part of the season.

Well, finishing 14 with one win in first 10 games and no win in last 6. If you´ve had predicted that one before the start of the season you would be a very rich guy now.... All in all, I would call it a very very promising season and a fantastic foundation to build on.

Last few games has shown that we miss Gaston in these games. His linkup play is so important to put JRod and Rickie in better positions, now they come down too deep and too wide.
