Also not a fan of Gaston but think he and osvaldo could unlock the west ham defence and I'm intrigued to see what they can do. Very dynamic front 4 and also looks like osvaldo and Lambert can't play together. Norwich seemed 442. Would bring cork in but feel VW could deal with diame.

Hrs done well but just because he's done well so far doesn't mean he won't mess up. I would bring yoshida in soon and quit while ahead with tonte before his inevitable mistake. I think all he is missing is that element of concentration.

Of course you would, they've got 87 millionsworth of talent in, we've got 36, but at the same time they lost the best player in the league?

First time in a while we have a had real options, so to accommodate as many as possible people want square pegs in round holes. We need to pick the best players in their positions. This means no Ramirez on the wing where he has been awful, no JWP on the left. What is obvious with our system is that RL GR and Ossie cannot all start one must be dropped with the other 2 only filling CAM and ST positions. Everyone alternates I know but I don't want any of those 3 primarily out on the wing.

I don't think amount of away premier league games attended shows real loyalty. This should have been implemented when we were relegted to league 1. Fair enough the demand was less but in my opinion loyalty is a 16 year old lad working 4 hours a week and saving it up to go to one away game every other month in league 1 rather than someone that has the money but only the interest in a premier league outfit, but pays what is small change to them to get a season ticket and whatever away games they please. I also understand that the majority of our fans aren't like this.

I think I would break down the claim that 'he was rubbish' by saying that his pass completion and retaining of the ball was poorer than usual today. I also think he realised it himself as near the end he could have had a shot but didn't take it on, instead panicking and passing it to their centre backs. Unlucky not to score but his link up play was below his usual high standards.

Unfortunately his good consistent work last season appears to have been forgotten over the summer. He is a great option and our 3rd choice winger so cant see why he'd go even if we had someone lined up. Maybe wages for FFP after osvaldo?

Did anyone else have trouble finding a pub with a working stream? The bridge and the yacht both had trouble with their usual stream provider (someone provides it for all the pubs). Ended up missing first half well only got the top left of the screen and streamed it at home.
