The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I wonder whether there are members on the Government front bench looking enviously at Netanyahu's latest fit of pique. -
Of course they are, and Deutsche Bank have gone bust and the German car manufacturers are so desperate for British business they are still trying to smash down the Chancellor's office door.

So now she has managed to stop one bloke on a plane perhaps she might try to work out how to actually stop small boats crossing the Channel. -
I swear the IMF start each month by rolling a dice to find out what figure they will put in their next forecast.

£1m these days would probably buy his right foot.

I know there are too many ground vying for the tests, but London always gets 2, one because "it's Lords, innit", and one because the ECB conceded a very advantageous deal for The Oval. Maybe there should be an agreement that OT and Headingly alternate, also Edgbaston and Trent Bridge, and every so often the Oval is dropped in favour of the Ageas. Saying that Trent Bridge is a 'northern' venue is ludicrous, Nottingham is nearer to Southampton than it is to Newcastle.

Are you as unpleasant in real life as your persona projects on here ?

Don't worry. Us Northerners, both sides on the Pennines, will miss out next time, nothing further North than Nottingham for the next home Ashes. ( Which according to the bloke from the ECB on the radio yesterday means that there will still be a 'northern' test. Not sure he has a grasp of geography ) And if you are complaining about "shitty northern weather", Leeds is wetter than Manchester,

Did their sports writers even watch the dire, turgid, disjointed match where England beat Haiti 1-0 ? Hardly "Roarsome". -
The number and scale of climate related disasters is increasing, but we are getting better at planning for, mitigating, and recovering from such events. https://public.wmo.int/en/media/press-release/weather-related-disasters-increase-over-past-50-years-causing-more-damage-fewer

Just as much of a bribe.

On the news this morning they were trying to work out if the Chancellor might be able to fund tax cuts ahead of next year's election. Isn't that the Government giving people money ?

Of their own accord. How many Wagner troops were killed or wounded during that excursion ?

Somebody needs to remind them how batting points are awarded.

Something that mildly amuses every time we get home; a house 3 doors down from us have 2 cars, a black BMW estate and a Mini. I am not sure of their politics but the number plates are NA51GER and NA51USA.

So, is Boris Johnson dead yet ? -
Which 'unbiased' sources do you rely on ?

Increasingly they are adapting anti-air missiles for use as long range surface attack systems, which are much less accurate than specifically designed cruise missiles. The problem for Ukraine with naval launches against Odesa is that the incoming missiles can only be targeted by local defences, whereas attacks on Kyiv or Kharkiv might pass over hundreds of kilometres of defended territory, and multiple layers of AAA systems.

It took me a while to get round the fact it is 'based on' rather than an adaptation of the Asimov trilogies. ( A bit like watching The Two Towers and resisting the urge to shout out "The Elves were never at Helm's Deep". )
