Chelsea 2 Saints 2 - Post Match Celebrations & MotM
badgerx16 replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
A bonus point which will give us confidence for other matches against the 'big' clubs. ( And LOL at Rooney - wearing gloves FFS and missing a penalty ). -
Anyone complaining about NA's substitutions ?

I hear there's a moon called Pandora that is full of it - all you have to do is knock a few trees down.
-
Aluminium - because knowing how to spell it differentiates between the free world and the yanks.

Surely that's silicon ?
-
They could obviously teach these fans a lot then...
-
Most of them these days are in people carriers or chelsea tractors.
-
The first step towards their next admin ?
-
How many PCC staff would have to be made redundant to cover a £3Mill loan ? Or would it be provided through Prudential Borrowing - and would this then count towards the amount of debt the FL will let them carry forward ?
-
And they look like doing it without the assistance of the -10.

Villa 0 v Saints 1 post match chat & MotM

I knackered after watching that, but then again I spent the whole match on my exercise bike. Great performance, especially in the first half. Hope Shaw's injury isn't too bad. -
Edited - That's the only time it matters.

In the last minute, once we're 4:0 up ? Nah, keep the clean sheet. As for the white kit, this is the first match I've watched wearing the white shirt I got for Crimbo, so if we keep this lead Im all in favour of it.

Before we get there they have to convince a Court, next month, that they should be allowed to extend the administration beyond the statutory 12 months. As far as I am aware, this application to the Court has to be with the consent of the creditors: " How long does the administration process last? The process can generally only last for up to 1 year, although this can be extended by the consent of the creditors and/or by the court. The administrator is also required to do everything as soon as reasonably practicable. There is a time-limit of eight weeks for getting their proposals (details of what they intend to do with the company) out to creditors, and holding the initial creditors meeting. This can be extended by the creditors' consent and/or by the court. These proposals will include full details relating to the administrator's appointment, and the circumstances leading up to it, as well as exactly how the administrator proposes to achieve the purpose of administration - including details of how they anticipats the administration will end." http://www.companyrescue.co.uk/company-rescue/guides/detailed-administration

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)
badgerx16 replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Lounge
""However, Dr Richard Allan of the University of Reading said: ‘Global warming is not “at a standstill” but does seem to have slowed down since 2000, in comparison to the rapid warming of the world since the 1970s. ‘In fact, consistent with rising greenhouse gases, heat is continuing to build up beneath the ocean surface.’ He was backed by Bob Ward of the London School of Economics, who said it would be wrong to interpret that warming had stopped."" Please remember that the graph of any rise will never be linear, and individual years may quite reasonably show no increase, or even a small drop. This would not, however, invalidate an extrapolation over perhaps 40-50 years. -
Would that mean there is less CO2 for the 'green shoots' to absorb and use for growing ?

A bloke who refused to work as it was 8am starts
badgerx16 replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
Put him on community work to 'earn' his benefits, starting at 07:00, and stop all of his money the first day he fails to turn up. The guy is a living breathing Daily Mail headline, and deserves to be named and shamed. -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-20909508 "Activity in the UK's services sector fell for the first time in two years in December, a survey has suggested, raising fears of yet another recession" "Confidence among purchasing managers remained at an 11-month low."

But it will keep that one person off the unemployment register for 6 months.

QPR beat Chelsea's 2nd string, let's not read too much into it.

And of course our team won't take any confidence out of the Arsenal game, will they.
