The Government says that by specifically excluding the church from this legislation, this scenario cannot happen. Presumably as the Church has no option of 'in' or 'out' it cannot discriminate. ( Then again - politician's promises....).

The Government Minister responsible for this bill was on R4 news this evening and said that although what is being proposed is a 'marriage', there will be no definition or acceptance of 'consumation' or 'adultery' in relation to this legislation. It strikes me that this has not really been thought through; there are far too many caveats and special exemptions in this dog's breakfast of an idea. Should just stick with Civil Partnerships.

Cameron is playing games; he cannot find time to try to pass legislaton for a 'marriage tax break', which was in the Tory manifesto, but can find time for this idea, which was not. It is also reasonably clear that if this is brought before the Commons it will pass because Labour and the LibDems will whip the vote - so he'll get it through despite Tory opposition. I also find it interesting that Peter Tatchell says that this idea is discriminatory against heterosexual couples, as they are legally barred from participating in a Civil Partnership.

The alternative in England is to not vote at all - or choose between UKIP, BNP, the Greens, Respect, or the Monster Raving Loonies - come to think of it I can see a surge in voting for the MRLP coming on, they make as much sense as the mainstream muddlers.

So she has met item (1) on her Job Description - brood mare to perpetuate the aberration that is the royal family. Why does Cameron feel the need to tweet that they will make 'wonderful parents' ? How does he know ? Given William's family's history over the last 3 decades the odds are stacked in favour of a broken home.

Well, they seem happy to have done this with the Chancellor.

Yet you state categorically that NA, a former goalkeeper, is wrong. Perhaps, as he sees all three GKs in training every week, he is making team selections based on experience and observation. It would be stupid to keep dropping the keeper because of a perceived mistake, we'd be in a permanent state of rotating between the 3.

How many promotions have you managed ?

Yes, but as Hoiveld, S Davis, and Fox aren't playing, and Jose has gained confidence, somebody has to be the focus of b!tching.

http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?40881-Gazzaniga-going-on-loan "it would be a stupid idea, ATM he is our best keeper" "I agree he is a great keeper. Boruc will be our number one and Kelv is certainly not a bad backup." "Stupidity. Boruc is fat. Gazza is our best keeper." "Wish he was still number 1 ....." "IMHO I was happy with him in goal for us. " "Disappointed. I much prefer him to Boruc. " "As disappointing news as Billy going on loan." ".....but as someone had grossly overated the competences of Davis he had to be chucked in at the deep end for a couple of games....." "I do understand people wanting Gazza in goal instead of Boruc but since NA prefers Boruc at this time I can't understand why anyone would be againt him going out on loan. If anything he gets the chance to proof he's the better goallie." etc etc etc

Is there a thread on the Wigan fans forums slating Al Habsi for his clanger that permitted Balotelli to score and asking for him to be immediately dropped ? And how about this recent thread on a WHU forum - "Jussi Jaaskelainen - sponsored by Lurpak ". Personally I'd stick with Gazzaniga. Confidence comes with playing - look at the way Fonte is playing now as compared to the start of the season - how many goals did our error-prone CBs cost us ?
