  1. Admittedly I only have 6 mins to go on but against ten men with complete Dominance we should have won. It's coming down to a simple idea is it the lack of team quality or is it the manager. 16 games in its clear to see we have a problem of being very inefffectual and predictable. Which Way are we going to go with fixing it? Or do we not do anything? I never bought into the whole we have no ambition thing but if we don't address it one way or another then there is no other explanation for what we are seeing week in and week out.
  2. First game this season I haven't watched in full. Got the score right but was surprised by the red card. Other than that same old and very predictable result. The only question highlights can't answer is were we 'good' or 'bad' at 'possession football' tonight? A point is a point I guess either way...
  3. Koeman back lol. He had a decent defense with us and did well. But look at Everton, do we really want to swap one set of frustrating tactics for another. Besides Koeman doesn't work at Xmas.

    **** off

**** off to the sad acts who always turn on other supporters rather than focus on the **** football. Your lashing out at others because you want to make yourself feel bigger and cleverer, its cheerleader bully tactics. From the bell end in the hat, to the chapel end, to **** songs, to the Northam being soulless; whinge whinge whinge, I ask you what the **** does that really have to do with the **** football we are being served up. I'd be just as ****ed off if it was on telly on mute. Get your priorities straight you numpties. I'm sure you were all singing at the top of your voices as Redmond lost the ball for the 7th time.
  5. Utter boloks. If played behind closed doors, or in front of just the Saints fans with no Israelis, and for another 30 mins we still wouldn't have won. The issue isn't the fans, it didn't seem to be an issue for last 7 years, it isn't now. We the fans pay our money to watch football, when we are being charged for a product we have been sold on we expect to at least get a show, we aren't getting much at all. Only a mug or a liar could get themselves excited enough to give full effort watching that dross.
  6. I've tried to remain positive up until now, but as each game goes on the curtains draw back to reveal what we are really dealing with and unfortunately its starting to become clear Les Reed is on the other side of the window pulling a mooney at us and slapping his cheeks to the tune of OWTS.
  7. Bloody hell wish I had even a slice of your optimism. Talk about cherry picking positives.
  8. Done a runner. They are trying to activate his GPS but it appears he may have cut it out somewhere on the way to China.
  9. Your spot on though because that is literally how predictable Saints FC have become.
  10. Lol people are saying this because sadly the most exciting we have looked in the last two games is when Virgil goes on a run forwards and almost always starts a decent attack. Other than that our attack has been pretty dire for those games even with Austin our holy savior on the pitch.

    **** off

lol why so much hate for someone else in the crowd. How does it affect you lot so much. If he likes to do it then let him get on with it. Now that trim bearded ****** in our attacking 3 who doesn't pass the ball until he has had 5 touches or ever get his head up when he is running does need a roasting today.
  12. Nah last night was not the worst, the writing was on the wall. I would say Palace was a new level of ****e when we had a decent team out. Prague was about same level as last night. i fear the sort of performances as highlighted above are actually the norm for us so when we have a good game against the likes of Everton that is really the anomaly.
  13. Very predictable from the result down to them having one decent shot and scoring it. Our team lacks a winning mentality. We look good in any game where there is no pressure to win such as against arsenal, Liverpool etc. This is the same reason we lose to teams like palace and hull, there is an expectation we should win against these sides which translates to pressure and we bottle it. This is the managers responsibility end of.
  14. It's hard to argue against this.
  15. This seems to be the case. We are in all competitions and still have a shot of doing well in them BUT are we really capable of winning any of them as we progress whilst maintaining the same policy thats kept us in them all so far. Bloody tricky one for the manager, don't envy him but great job on that front so far.
  16. Don't need to do anything about Trolls. They will say whatever needed to get bites for effect. I'm far more concerned about the people willing to write off a player who didn't really do anything that wrong and had some of the more positive contributions in the game. Seems very predetermined, sometimes even prejudiced. A bit like the early condemnation of Mane really.
  17. Yeah I think you have got it right and the issue is Long being way off his game. He can be so much better than anything we have seen from him this season. Redmond is doing fine so far, he has good spells and quieter spells in every match but so did Mane in the early days. Charlie is going to pitch in. We really need our other players to start contributing more to the goals department. So many decent chances going wide that you'd expect a professional midfielder in most other teams to bury. Although what the solution to that problem is I have no idea.
  18. Yeah fair enough but at the same time, sweeping statements that make you (not directly you, but as in people who make 'Im better than you' type comments) look like an arrogant asshat doesn't really have much content observation or intelligence either. Rising to it is just going to make trolls worse and give them a kick. However when it's clear we have been particularly **** there is naturally going to be some discussion and analysis of it just like when we win and it is a more positive discussion. So condemning everyone for having a negative opinion as being some lesser being is quite frankly just as bad as the regular WUMS.
  19. Glad to see you are back to your best OP, playing both sides of the line. Masterful work of late you are in great form, try not to do a Gerrard slipup and get banned again this time.
  20. **** happens. Wish we'd seen a little more composure from players who we know are good enough to deal with it, but onwards to the next game. Better we got a slap in the face now than on Thursday.
  21. This, plenty of time for us to get it all under control.
  22. Lol you smug ****. Hows the ivory tower? People are allowed to vent their frustrations, its only the usual dickheads who are saying its a crisis like they have been every match for past 4 years. But at the same time there is clearly a problem with our away form and lack in attack that needs to be addressed and maybe even (shock horror) discussed on a footy discussion forum. Now why don't you go look in a mirror and continue polishing yourself off for being so super amazingly better than everyone else on here.
  23. Rubbish, this thread not Redmond. He played well in second half.
  24. Its not a meltdown mate, it's people being ****ing angry that we lost this one. If the team had looked a bit more up for it and were playing well then it would be fair play to Palace. We gifted them it as we have done to a few teams this season and that is the source of many peoples annoyance. Beating Arsenal and Everton means **** all when we go 2 steps in the opposite direction against the likes of Hull, Palace and Sparta Prague. We clearly are capable as we have seen it at home so why aren't we seeing it consistently. Theres no point singling out individuals because our team quality is what is shifting game by game, even Van Dijk didn't look anything special today.
  25. We don't setup right or have the correct attitude and game plan going into away games. Too negative. I think that actually the manager does have to take responsibility for our overall league away form although there is little he can legislate for absolute calamities like Forster served up. Although the writing has been on the wall for that cockup for a while, our keeper has not been himself all season although I've thought he has looked much better in last couple of games. Romeu had an off day which led to us being overloaded in midfield.
