  1. For the poster who believed that this was all part of Liverpool conspiracy to twist results, you will love the fact that the above paper was released day before our game with them in December.
  2. After the initial pain it was a bloody great few years, and dare I say more than worth it to be where we are now.
  3. Their one touch football is obscene...
  4. Umm 4-3 Spurs , they will rob us (like they repeatedly do to us in every bloody way) in last ten minutes to win the game. I'm not religious but for the love of all gods please say I'm wrong and give us a win against these rotten overpaid bastards and their bell end army.
  5. Don't be daft CB that's not anywhere near what I said, and a tad over dramatic for you, I'm inferring that if the club feels bad news is coming with regard to players departing, and if they think it would be bad enough for many of our more sensitive fans to wet the bedsheets, then it makes good business sense for them to get as many sales done while the good times roll. A little announcement of an extra year on a already long contract just seems like a pretty pointless PR stunt, and so I wonder why and why now? I think the club is genius when it comes to business decisions like these I certainly don't think low of them for it and am very chuffed with the progression, every year since the owner has come in we've been take up one step further, this is the first season where we might only do as well as the last which is phenomenal in itself.
  6. Cynic in me says that this doesn't mean anything and is a show to get season tickets renewals in before the bad news comes. I cant see the point in extending contract when he is one of the only players who we didn't need to worry about selling as he only just joined and would be expected to stay 2 seasons regardless of transfer rumours/offers. I'm normally optimistic and realistic about transfer windows but now I'm worried.
  7. Levy did an incredible job of 'discovering' their manager. Seems only fair that Spurs don't try to hold back his progression and ambition to manage a great club.
  8. If Lallana is man enough to come back and play in this I think it's a gesture that should earn him reprieve from animosity. Well that's how i would feel anyway, have little to no respect for him at moment but if he swallows his pride and returns for Kelv then he gets a few points back.
  9. if we can buy a top calibre right back and goal scoring midfielder/playmaker (our major weakness) we could be strong contenders. NB. ...and not lose anyone from the first team in the summer...
  10. Good game, had every chance to win it, just lacked a little up front but that is the difference between the two sides as we saw when we fell away last year in Feb and Leicester have been able to maintain it. If we had a creative player like Mahrez and someone with Vardy's consistency up top we would also be able to compete for top 4. The mental side of the game is also one of our big weaknesses. Still got a chance for Europe if we maintain playing this way till the end of the season.
  11. Good game professional job by Leicester, they well deserve the title.
  12. As long as we keep up the tempo we can say we had a good go at it and enjoy the match regardless of the result. (Bar a stuffing in the second half of course)
  13. We've started moving around off the ball a bit better, creating opportunities think we are still in this. Keep it to only -1 and if in the last 20 we still arent in a draw we can bring on JWP for Clasie and Austin on for Davis to go for the direct route which is Leicesters biggest weakness. IF we can claw it to 1-1 by any means I think they will then throw the kitchen sink at us allowing Mane in. Easy right?...
  14. Not enough movement off the ball. Most easily seen on throw ins, the defensive mentality is very very strong hence the tight marking, but the forwards as a result aren't creating outlets. Matter of time.
  15. Was always going to happen. They will work out some ******** 10 year prem top 6/cup co-efficeient to work out who qualifies to ensure it remains about money more than it is about current football team prowess.
  16. I've wondered if Pelle's attitude and personality has a detrimental effect on other members of the team. Seem's our recent period of success coincided with him being out of the team. Think i'd get ****ed off with an immobile striker constantly whining and blaming every one of my teammates when something goes wrong, and constantly demanding ball to feet before flicking it straight to the opposition without looking. There's some other unjustified big ego's in the team who think they are much better than they really are and I hope they get shipped out and replaced . The team spirit and bond that brought us most of our success of recent years seems to be gone, which is a damn shame, because in the modern age it will be the difference that will lift unified teams above those around them on a financial par but full of 'big time charlies' (Leicester this season). I would also not cry if Koeman decided it was time to leave, he has done some great things for us, but truth be told, his style of football just isn't anywhere near as exciting as what Pochettino served us up, and in the end we pay money to watch good football.
  17. I think this has been a consistent problem for some of our players, this belief that by magic teams wont concede has led to us dialling back the attack mentality in last few games (even the ones we scraped wins)
  18. I've decided who i'm going to blame 'Wanyama', the ****er, for his needless red card, we've missed him in both these matches badly. I wanted to believe we didnt need him, but blatantly we do because we lost the midfield game today and that meant we couldn't get motoring up front and got too many attacks coming through the middle. His presence frees up an extra midfield player to get forwards and link up play.
  19. Predictable result, disappointing display, Mane making sure he gets the exit he wants.
  20. it is a shame that the minute we have any pressure on us to win we crumble, i'm with the guy who earlier said we are mentally fragile. It's been in evidence for past two seasons, look at our cup performances and games we 'should/need' to win, it's pretty bad record, but put us up against Arsenal or Man Utd with no pressure on us to do well and just give it a go and we play like gods.
  21. thats our season over...again... like the time before last time this season was over
  22. where the **** was fraser lol

  24. I take it back we are ****e tonight lol
