Austin starts (against a non top 6 side) and scores...who would have thought. Puel made this mistake last season, not starting/playing Austin much and when he did, we started to score goals... Would be insane to sell Austin in January without getting in someone who can score and an aerial threat

Hoedt was good Boufal was good Bertrand was good Davis and JwP were good Austin obviously was very good PeH my Man of the Match...covered every blade of grass and pressed very well. But it could have been any from about 8 players that is more like it, at home to a non top 6 side.........great game and well done to MP

yes, we only had 1 shot on target. Difference from other games, we scored it. them coming back was obvious and we will do well to hang on. We certainly wont be making Pickford earn his wage that is for sure we became less adventurous as the half went on...nothing new
