I have travelled to portsmouth and I have to agree that they did make it a nightmare. The place is horrible. The number of away fans turning up is not an inditement on Morecome, but an indication of how far portsmouth have sunk. I don't think visiting Fraton Park would be much of a cup final for any L2 team when they have a realistic chance of a JPT (or whatever its called these days) with a trip to a much nicer stadium possible.

Pompey fans obvioulsy havent caught on to the fact they are now in a division where it is normal to only have that many travelling fans because the clubs are small and they are now one of them. A little arrogant to see themsleves as such big fish with their 1 pt.

Has Directv announced or added he extra time channels yet? I searched through the channel line up on friday and I didnt see it there yet. Its only a few more days, getting a little worried as saints is not on the regular channels for the first few weeks.

Lambert has been awesome, but you cannot get 90 minuets out of him every game of the season. The games he looked worse in were the midweek ones where he had played the full 90 a few days before. And towards the end of the season his form really dropped. He should have been rested but there was apparently no available replacement. It would have probably been better to have a rested lambert in a few of those games than a crocked one in all of them. Awesome player can't do it all the time at this intensity.

I only see dating adds, first cougars, then asians now we are on to fit singles.

I am originally from Devon from a non football family. Started getting interested in football late eighties. Didnt really follow any team in particular. Started following saints as I prepared to go to university in southampton. Went to about 5 games difficult to get tickets at the dell back then. Then I moved to London. I would try to get to all the away days I could in the capital but never got back to southampton since. Now live on other side of the pond with a bunch of mexicans who like Man U because of Javier hernandez. They might have been converted to saints this year if they hadn't been so bad. After being poor for so many years I now want to get a new saints shirt but will not do so until they make a decent looking one. So every few weeks my shirt from 1997 will get an airing infront of the tv.

There is the first amendment they can't really do anything about it. But by contrast there is no nudity on tv unless you get the premium cable channels (HBO etc) and no page 3 I ilke to shock fox news watchers witjh the whole sun page 3 thing. And they don't have any magazines anywhere except in specialist shops. They can only restrict where stuff is sold, they can zone it out but a city which does so has to leave somewhere in can be. Once apon a time you had to have the embarrasement of walking into the newsagent to buy your porn. I thought that was all behind us with the internet. I went to a school with 2400 pupils in Devon and out of all those students there were 2 black students and one chinese. If you walked around most Devonshire town centers you would think there were no non whites. When I lived in Southampton there were clearly a more diverse population, The bits which are heavily white tend to not get so much exposure in our urban centered media world.

Whichever can take a decent corner as we lacked in this all last season.
