Oh if I was Bertrand and Tadic did some sh*t over hit pass I would not be clapping the *****er- have a go at him and tell him it needs to be better!
-
yeah should have hit the target. oh well i would rather be making comments on our misses than on leicester chances. a 1-0 win would be so sweet.
-
problem seems to be when we attack it is just tadic, jwp and long. cedric and bertrand offering little support down the wings. just playing far too deep. however, could be a mere precaution by Hughes until he changes things in the second half. 0-0 at the break would be positive based on what I have seen so far. we need an away side performance after all. makes my blood boil, in their fancy suits and high wages.
-
Iheanacho good chance. Looked to me that PEH was ball watching. Leicester the better side.
-
Les and Ralph in attendance in their suits.
-
they didn't have the FA charging £70 for a concessionary ticket either.
-
I'm going to move into the seats in front of me- the row I paid for me and my mates was £30 each- that one row ahead becomes £45 and as I can see from the website it still remains unsold (not just that next row, but in fact like the next 10 rows!)

I fear we will lose this- Leicester players will know by relegating us they can get rid of us for good, and Puel will prop up his players as much as he can to try and get one over us and basically relegate us. If we go down, Puel's standing goes up massively despite him basically having us in relegation form in our last 20 PL games for 2016/17, and an 8th place so luckily claimed because at half time of our final PL game we were like 11th and we finished 8th due to other results because Crouch even scored in the second half for us to lose. so yeah, I hope the players on the pitch know the significance of this game. We just have to win, hopefully Hughes can motivate our spineless players more than Puel can motivate his.

(If we go down) what will you miss about the Premierleague?

this will never happen. not in the next 50 years, and not in the last 35 either. -

only to overseas fans though. -
i think the sad thing is that in the 2010-11 season- we had Brighton, Bournemouth and Huddersfield in League 1 with us. They'll be in the PL for 2018-19, we'll be in the Championship.
-
chelsea and arsenal didn't need wins either. both knew had next to no chance of making top 4. oh wait. 0 points.

yes. when you are winning like 2009-10/2010-11/2011-12. the rest of it was awful. -

dw about that one! SMS will remain in the game even if we go down -
I could be wrong but I highly doubt any other club will have sold tickets for this semi-final the way we did- about 10 different criteria that span over a length of 2 bloo*y weeks that even separated fans by the date they bought their membership, and continue to persist with a '1 ticket 1 membership number' rule when really STHs should have been allowed to purchase 1/2 more when it became clear this would not sell out- with just 5 days to go we have left it far too late for any of that. for reference, I have decided to scout the web and see how Wigan sold their semi-final allocation back in 2013- appears far simpler- allow STHs to purchase an extra 2 and general salers to purchase 2 at a time providing they have a purchase history, we should have done similar by the 7/8th of April. This was the best I could find: https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/football/latics/wembley-tickets-information-1-5505345

we have a bunch of reta*ds working at the club ranging from the ticket office to the players to the owners and director of football- even the groundsmen doing things wrong these days with over watering the pitch. It is rather terrible that block 141 now has around 200 empty seats at the front. We have made a shambles of the ticketing process, I just urge all Saints fans to please go and generate the best Wembley atmosphere we can, and that means buying up all the £30 tickets that remain! You will regret it if we win, and if we lose then well it is the expected anyway.

please tell me the last time a championship team (or leagues below!) won the FA Cup or League Cup. the best chance of winning a cup is by remaining a PL team. In terms of what I'll miss, well the PL brought about its revenue, ease of streaming and watching every minute of our games (particularly those away ones), higher coverage, an opportunity to go toe to toe with the big boys and witness genuine world class players. The sad thing for me is the number of jobs that become redundant when we go down in particular. The only benefits I see for next season in the Championship is 46 league games as opposed to 38, more 3pm fixtures on a Saturday, and maybe we can regain our fans back who generate an atmosphere over the selfie brigade we see at SMS currently. -
Well ofc the top 2 is different every season?!?!
-
this is the crucial thing. it is in our own hands.
-
He was signed because Liverpool at the time felt they needed a big man as a plan B to come off the bench.
-
winning that Everton game 4-1.
-
I would say we are 85% down. That 15% hope rides on us beating (that's right- NO DRAWS) both Leicester and Bournemouth consecutively, and then scrambling for a point or two against Everton and Swansea away. Manchester City is a write off.
-
yeah- interestingly though that for those not going due to price of ticket- there are so many £30 tickets still left. although understand Wembley might be difficult to get to for some, and I think this is where the club faffed around too much- by leaving these windows so late people missed out on buying advance train tickets as no one was sure if they would meet the criteria. Turns out that anyone who wants a ticket will get one.
-
so when do we get the 4-3 win... this one or bournemouth?
-
there are so many options... 2012-13: beatng city, chelsea and liverpool at home, staying up with an unknown entity in Pochettino 2013-14: finishing comfortably 8th with what was a fairly British team, seeing 4 England players at the WC 2014-15: 7th place including an 8-0 and a 6-1 win, alongside wins against United away and Arsenal home. 2015-16: 6th place, beat each of the top 6 sides at least once, 63 points! 2016-17: the anfield semi-final, beating Inter at home. 2017-18: nothing (but is an FA Cup pending?!?!) I think I will go for the 2014-15 win at Old Trafford- that was my first visit and the win was crazy! I had a great weekend in Manchester too that was made sweeter with the win.
