got the result which is main thing for me. I'm still so mixed about Puel... I will admit if he left I wouldn't be fussed, but there are cases for and against him. from the outside though we look bloody spoilt- 8th place and a cup final and talks of him getting sacked! vvd's injury, gabbiadini's inury, the fixture list (just 3 games in feb/march included too), lack of strikers given at the start of season by les, forster turning shi*e (which i won't blame puel for)... but then... the boring football which hasn't got results, the poor home record and goals scored at home, the europa league campaign, the throwing away of the fa cup game in the manner it happened, inability to win one game against the top 6 in the league, tadic/long and host of other players becoming worse from previous season, rotation of players who had a good game before then getting dropped...

ironically, puel has also played strongest team in the league. he played second string teams in the europa league except for the beer sheva game. there was hardly any rotation if you excluded the midweek games and vice versa, there wasn't much rotation if you look at our midweek games. it was almost as if puel was playing two different teams.
