To think he is Juanmi's replacement too
-
rumour i heard....
-
they are blaming the keeper more for it. 11 points is probably too many to overturn, if only some of those really doss defeats/draws had been wins.
-
Exactly what i was thinking!!!
-
finishing is a skill that can be applied to almost everyone bar the top 15 world strikers.
-
that game might be good for him too depending on chelsea team! last time we played the they had batshuayi, terry, fabregas, kurt zouma and other big names in their team!
-
yes he will stay i reckon. providing theres no release clause, its not as if if we don't take £40m this summer it will be reduced the following. hes tied down until 2022. apart from the 2014 sales, all of them left due to contract situation, don't have that with any current player.
-
wtf are you on about perfectly reasonable question to ask- at end of the day 7th place is only way we can make europe now (plus a top 5 team winning fa cup), unfortunately i don't think we will, defence not good enough, all dependent on whether vvd recovers quickly.

Get caceres on for no reason at all
-
Lets sl*g someone else off next as a collective effort!!! The best players are the ones who can make a difference at anytime even when playing crap
-
well united ruined my accumulator before its even began glasgow teach me your insurance bets haha :roll eyes:
-
no hojberg on bench- do clasie and him just alternate roles on the bench now then. otherwise glad with team lets get the 3 points ffs.
-
Nope- it leads to the FAIREST Outcome. Plus I think having video tech would be a really exciting moment- similar to how goal line tech is now. Watch how in tennis some of the most exciting moments is whether the break point serve did touch the line, or in rugby whether the try has been scored, even in Cricket the atmosphere boosts a little bit when there is a decision to be made on an LBW. Having a video referee would do wonders for football, need to take it out of the 20th century and adapt using the new tech available

Why is our squad 7th best? What is that based off? Funny you write along with it 'just now', so before January what was it ranked using your parameter? If it is worse, than surely should not be too upset right?

NUMBER OF GAMES FOR TEAMS IN MARCH: Arsenal: 4 AFC Bournemouth: 3 Burnley: 3 Chelsea: 3 Palace: 2 Everton: 3 Hull: 3 Leicester: 3 Liverpool: 3 Man City: 5 Man United: 5 M'boro: 3 SAINTS: 2 Stoke City: 3 Sunderland: 2 Swansea: 3 Tottenham: 3 Watford: 2 West Brom: 3 West Ham United: 3 right can't believe i spent 10 minutes doing this- but Watford, Palace and Sunderland have just 2 games this month like us- then I also realised there is an international break. regardless, can see why puel has made the comments he has, seems cr*p that after the nov/dec fixture list it is so light right now.
-
14th would be same as first season back and even with a European campaign that would be awful with squad we have compared to the 2012/13 one
-
I cannot be bothered to do any research, but as you say it is the same for a number of sides, can you please tell me which other Premier League teams only play 2 games in March followed by a cluster***** of games in April? then i'll take your point for what it is worth.
-
if i was ever a player and the next game was 2 weeks away id be chilling for the first week pretty much. but then again thats why I'm not a professional player
-
not moaning about the number of games, but the regularity of it mate, big difference! ofc we want europe, but the fixtures have not been spaced out very kindly for us.
-
9th should be min target and id call this season satisfactory. yep my expectations have risen and id like to see us become a regular mainstay in that top half/europe every 2 or 3 seasons category. i can't believe I'm resorting to glasgow terminology here, forgive me in advance please, BUT, if level 1 was title contenders, level 2 was regular top 6 with occasional top 4 finishes, then we need to be that level 3 club, top half minimum with aim for europe either through league or cup every couple seasons, and we need to consolidate that level for a while. no point hoping to be level 2+, their turnover/wages astronomical compared to us
-
Because we too are one of those clubs that put out a weakened team... Unless we get to quarter final for FA Cup and the semi final again for league cup then we'll reslly take it serious. We should aim for another rinal in 5 years though definitely- this was our first one in 5 SINCE promotion- and why not aim for another in the next 3- the boys have had a taste of it too now. It would he horrible if we go through one of our best periods in history without a trophy to boot
-
if we had won then everyone would have wanted one and would have bought one- reckon with Gabbiadini's name on the back of it!!!!
-
EFL Final, what price did anyone pay for tickets on the day from touts?
nta786 replied to st marvellous's topic in The Saints
was that £300 for a ticket in the United end? you must have paid that early in the day! my mate paid £140 to be in United end, about 25 mins before kick off, face value of his ticket was £36 -
hojbjerg cannot shoot for sh*t!!! his speculative efforts haha love that he attempts them though, one of these days theyll go in.
