Everyone entitled to their opinion- if he isn't watching game then perfectly possible to assume that JWP hasn't been involved too much, which bar his header, hasn't. He isn't having a bad game, I don't think anyone is. Only issue to me is right now out of 10 everyone is a 6, maybe VVD a 7. Anyways, just saw you have been finally banned- it would have been far nicer if you had replied to Saint Benali in a better tone- all it takes. Saying JWP is having a bad game doesn't make anyone with an anti-Saint agenda.

You genuinely need to stop swearing/insulting. Adds nothing to your posts.

this is what the premier league is now. its no longer fans at grounds, but simply customers.
-
exactly, it is usually the away fans who generate atmosphere that gets a bigger response from the home fans in most stadiums. oh and a goal also really helps!
-
let us play some from the PA like Anfield, and GGMU at Old Trafford and the bubbles at the 'London Stadium'. That's the only way those generate any atmosphere. Jokes though, wouldn't want us to be like that really

oh dear guess I'll have to bite. It isn't a case of 'saving a million or two'. You know very well that there are less players available on the market in January where clubs become very reluctant to sell halfway as it can disrupt their season, particularly if they are doing well and on progress to achieve something. only when a player is surplus to requirements at a club and/or their contract is about to finish is generally what January is about- and also panic buys where clubs attempt to throw money to solve the problem at an inflated price e.g. QPR with Remy and Samba, Fulham with Mitroglou. I want a striker as much as everyone but seeing as how net spend and sustainabilty is so important for us we just can't afford to throw money stupidly, and if the blackbox can't find a gem then no point spunking money. Oh and also only time will tell if Morgan was a decent buy.

you can't deny age is against him, had he been 25/26 then think he would have deffo been looked at. however, whilst he isn't good enough to get into the FIRST 11 of any top 6 team, am surprised none of them are willing to take him as a squad player- my bet is the bloke is demanding a 90k weekly contract on a three year term, which surely none of the top 6 are daft enough to do. fonte has dug his own hole, he can rot in it, but should he leave I'll thank him for his service and memories, wish him well, but unfortunately be left with slightly sour taste to what could have been (leading us out at Wembley/testimonial/future job here etc). OR an apology with his head back in it would be great!

is there any point in investing heavily this window though where prices are usually inflated and it is harder to buy as clubs become reluctant to sell mid-season? (unless an Austin style deal becomes available) I mean, we aren't gonna finish top 6, and apart from the LC semi-finals, I doubt we will buy a striker for those 2 games and I reckon Les will see the season out with a whimper (mid-table avoiding relegation) and then decide to buy in the summer ready for the 2017-18 season.

400 mile round trip fair enough but how about we do a pay double for your ticket if we win and a refund if we lose?

But FIFA said no to racism and Suarez said some stuff to Evra 5 years ago and Russia's hosting the WC.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING THOUGH THAT ASTON VILLA WAS A CATEGORY A GAME
-
gonna be bold and predict a 1-0 win.
-
i'm in the keep replays boat! smaller clubs might get that opportunity to play a premier league side away etc etc and more games the better!
-
Goes pretty well with Puel's 'we like to play games every 3 days' though!
-
The coin toss is very important.
-
Yeah of course I value that many want attacking football (because usually that does result in a win anyway and my analogt of parking the bus with 1-0 wins can never be sustained over a season anywyays!!) Think most of us are questioning Puel too- results have beeen very inconsistent unfortunately
-
I've always been in the 'I couldn't care less how we play, even if our tactic was parking the bus, with a long ball and we win 1-0', I would take those every day of the week. If we win then I have been entertained. If we win and completely dominate then that is a major bonus, one I would like, but any win always does for me. Plus I don't think there is anything worse than losing against the run of play. For me, the win is the entertainment, not the way it is won. Results first, style of play second.
-
I didn't say team- he would get into ANY top 6 SQUAD- maybe he is banking on an offer from a club likelier to win a trophy than us
-
Surely not money- last thing I would have thought as to why Fonte wanted to go. I think he wants to leave for more success, and is probably prepared to sit on the bench like Morgan did to collect any trophy- at the end of the day Morgan still has an FA Cup Medal to his name even if he is a 'failure'. Same this season too, if Liverpool or United win the League Cup- then Morgan OR Lallana/Clyne/Lovren add to their trophy count.
-
All I want to know is WHY he wants to go.
