very good, the game time hes been getting is cutting outt his rustiness, we all knew that he's a competent defender.
-
he has 260 posts. 156 of those posts are threads he starts. its basically all he does
-
back at it i see, even I find glasgow irritating mate and still think he is naive at the whole conception or rotation but stop wounding people up- it was a mix and match second choice XI in fairness to him- austin and no fonte, cedric, redmond, romeu, PEH when st chalet said a week off last thursday- doesnt one week equal tomorrow (thursday)...
-
Reed in particular, whenever he plays always does so well, has he actually ever had a bad first team game for us?? Romeu is better yes, but he has always filled in very well.
-
it was worst possible draw- liverpool who are on very good form WITH the second leg at anfield. not to forget we hate them anyway.
-
my guess for what Puel will play: Cedric Fonte VVC Mcqueen Romeu PEH JWP Redmond Austin Tadic they are on a bad run of form- trust us to end it for them, and Pardew beats us 1-0... thats the alpine in me! but really on the back of two positive results we should be looking a 2-0 victory, would be very nice, especially as they have no Cabaye too- so, 2-0, Austin and PEH to grab his first goal.
-
They only help him when he bets
-
papers over the cracks really puel got lucky that arsenal played a third string side rotation is a shocking policy, why cant our darlings play more than twice a week- test cricket matches are five days straight ffs and on a side note, i won £496 from my accumulator tonight!!
-
Just won £892- bertrand next scorer! Saints winning and im up!
-
Yoshida having a go at Martina? Lol
-
You bet way too much or you bullsh*t
-
Yeah lucky perez was offside
-
Clasies first goal get in
-
GOALL SAINTS!!

Hmm wanted slighly stronger team that- Puel literally loves experimenting- very least Austin on the bench ffs, and Romeu too- hopefully Reed wil put up- good experience for him tbf Tbf Jay Rod has been so poor and Mcqueen been a great attacking fullback why not try it. Jay Rod seems he can take pens too so if it gets to that put him on before that If he had played Cedric and Romeu to this team and a much stronger bench (wheres redmond + Austin + fonte ffs) and id be happy with a stronger bench too.

'if we don't pass sideways all night'- so basically only if we win we won't hear complaints? maybe, but may also have negative implications for future games i.e. fitness? we have so many fixtures coming up, including midweek games for the past 4 weeks in a row (2 ELs, one Prem and tonights EFL game) and then a hectic Christmas schedule

We aren't as big a club as Napoli, hence they have more bargaining power and can slap £60m-£70m price tags. It explains why Klopp said that it was easier to buy Mane from Saints then it would have been if he was at Dortmund. For example, if we had a Higuain type player regularly scoring, we would probably sell him for £45m, but Napoli can exert power and sell him for like £75m which they did. I do gather this isn't always the case e.g. Dortmund losing Lewandowski on a free/other examples We will sell if we get at £40m I reckon, still presenting a £30m profit, so don't expect a £60m transfer- this would only happen if there was a bidding war, but even then I only see City willing to part with that much.

It was worse losing to Sheffield United in 2014 than it would be tonight. Ironically it was that game where people thought we had 'signed the second Ali Dia'.

Hull through on pens.

since when did this forum have rules... whilst not strictly saints related, this is a massive tragedy for football, so can see why its on here. RIP to those who sadly passed away, some very nice gestures from other football clubs too. i cant even imagine what family members and the players went through, sad day indeed.
-
yes but one of newcastle and hull will go through, so deffo beatable over two legs if we draw them. west ham vs united/leeds vs liverpool the other two ties. id fancy us against all those teams over two legs except liverpool! but tomorrows a massive hurdle- very hard fixture indeed.
-
probs because every other team actually use the competition to bring their u23s into the first team if we had like mcqueen, jwp, redmond, targett, sims in ours we'd be topping it too i reckon or chelsea who had played their reserve players like terry, batshuayi and fabregas the other day!
-
Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Matt Macey, Krystian Bielik, Stephy Mavididi and Marc Bola have all been left out of our U23 team to face Leicester tonight, indicating they may be in the squad to face Southampton on Wednesday. U23 team vs. Leicester: -------------Keto Johnson--Sheaf--Da Graca-- Da Silva ------Bennacer--Zelalem Nelson------Dragomir------Willock ------------Nketiah Subs: McGuane, Virginia, Malen, Mourgos and T. Bola. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above was sent by my Arsenal mate, maybe they are playing a fringe team?
