Last season didn't 'peter out very tamely'. From our last 3 games we beat Everton and Swansea, and then drew to Man United at home.

£50 as usual for adult. £40 for child I believe. Taken from Official Site: It's time for us to Show Your Stripes! Southampton Football Club has today unveiled its 2015/16 home shirt. The classic red and white stripes returned this season and they’ll be back again with Official Technical Supplier adidas. The stripes offer a traditional and clean look to the shirt and reflect the DNA of Saints. Promoted by the club’s #ShowYourStripes campaign, there has been great excitement building around the launch of the new home shirt. The rounded ribbed collar creates a halo effect, inspired by the club’s nickname, and white inserts at the bottom of the shirt offer a strong feature to balance the design. Emblazoned across the middle of the shirt is Main Club Sponsor Veho, while the adidas logo sits proudly at the centre of the chest. The shirt, which is of a standard adidas jersey fit, is armed with climacool performance technology, providing a breathable kit on the pitch. It will be available in mini kits (2yrs, 3yrs, 4yrs), junior sizes (5-6yrs, 7-8yrs, 9-10yrs, 11-12yrs, 13-14yrs), and adult sizes ranging from small to XXXL in short-sleeve only. The shirt will retail at £50 for adults and £40 for juniors. Mini kits (shirts and shorts) are priced at £40. The home shirt will be available to buy in store at 9am on Friday 3rd July, with pre-orders beginning on Monday 1st June. You can register now to receive a reminder when pre-ordering commences by clicking here. Details of the remainder of the home kit, away kit and the goalkeepers’ kits will be announced in due course.

Not going to lie tbh- slightly underwhelmed. 1) Adidas Logo in the centre- JUST WHY?!?! Looks awful IMO. 2) This is literally a carbon copy bar the badge, logo and collar of Sunderland/Stoke Kit- I was hoping for a more original kit- i.e. Retro Stripes, the way our 76 kit was, or even the 94/95... Just something a bit more original. Oh well, it is what it is... I always buy one kit each year- let's hope the away kit is good! I just don't buy into this 'climacool' boll*cks. Maybe these kits will be an improvement on our current kit- but I never had problems this season so meh. (Posted this on other thread too) As for the 2016/17 thread- that can wait till October time

MLT?!?!?!?!?! -
Gazzaniga- tbh not bothered- hes been sound for the U21s and probably deserves a go after Davis's poor performances recently... However- I fear Leicester will be far more up for it now if Sunderland result stays 1-0 to them!! Oh well- COYS!!

If we maybe bloody sh*t more than there'd be a higher chance of a deflection, and when we do shoot, then to keep it on the ground. Some of Wanyama's shots recently- poor. However, to answer your question, I do believe it was Elia's second vs Newcastle. However, Gouffrans goal that game balanced the fortunes out (and yes, maybe I'm being biased, but I don't think it was a penalty after Fonte's handball (but if it were the other way I'd want a pen myself  ))

We got 7 points from our last three games last season. In fact, I'd take that now.

JWP Sending off - are Saints going to appeal this ?

Straight I believe. -
Looks like we need another one Anyways, can only see a loss right now- just devoid of confidence unfortunately- but I'm gonna go for a draw or a tight Leicester win. Davis Clyne Fonte Toby Bertrand Reed Wanyama Davis Mane Tadic Pelle Bench: Gazzaniga, Gardos, Yoshida, Targett, Elia, Djuricic, Long This as the team- Koeman needs to put Toby back in defence- I don't care if he is experimenting for next season to see what a back 4 without Toby looks like. Prediction: 1-1/2-1 to Leicester

and guess who has been relegated tonight from the championship.

'doesn't fit our system'

3 changes I would make to that team: Fonte over Cahill Fabregas over Coutinho Aguero over Costa. HOW has the PL's top assister and PL's top goalscorer been omitted? Awful. Who decides this team btw? Is it decided by players? or anyone else?
-
does this really warrant a thread. anyways, thanks for the advice, i'll pass it onto ronald and the other backroom staff.
-
the relegation battle and the promotion battle is going to be very tense indeed oh, and the race for fifth!
-
3-1 swansea. lol.
-
How unlucky is that. Burnley miss a penalty in the 59th minute, and then concede to an own goal in the 60th minute just moments later. Unfortunately that is probably them gone now. As for Leicester, fair play to them. 4 wins in a row if they win this.

Well to be fair, we had nothing to play for last season and still got 2 wins and 1 draw in our last three games. At least this season we're still in it regarding 5th-7th places.
